Thank you very much for the explanation. I thought the packages were sent every week :(

I just checked, and it says "at nvc".

One more question: my case will be sent to germany. how long does the transit take in general for european countries? does anyone know?

Try the DHL hack using the dates of the last shipment. Last shipment was 4/30. See what it returns. Also, a good way to practice till you see yours.

I'm glad you are getting some value from it.

Say, many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Greenbaum...   I reviewed the Apr 16 shipments to Brazil and noticed that there were 4 tracking numbers issued in that waybill.    Does each case receive its own tracking number or is each tracking number a box of cases?     In this shipment, it looks like there was a shipment error that caused a two week shipment duration.

One way bill for all the cases with 4 tracking numbers for each case. This is nothing that is official nor will you get any information out of NVC. This is just a hack that we have worked on for years so you have something to trace your case. It's not science so don't look at it for explanations. If there are 4 numbers then there are 4 cases. You could be one with three others. There is no way to verify this or confirm it. It is what it is. Just a HACK.

Got the case number! Now  to the next step, waiting for the case to be shipped to the embassy. It is exciting when things start moving faster at this stage. Waiting for NOA2 seemed to take forever! :)))

As of today 5/13 we were at 114 days and starting to wonder.

I called today (thanks to this thread)

And was on hold for almost an hour until I finally got through to a helpful guy named Jacob.

He needed the WAC# and some other simple things and he checked our status and said we were approved 4/30!!!

He said NOA2 can take up to 30 days to get to us in the mail. But at least we have some good news.

🙌

Here is an advanced copy of the P3 that you can begin to look over if you don't already have a copy. If you get a copy from the consulate and if it is newer could you please share it with me as I want to keep my library up to date so I can help others whom come behind you. Thanks.

Thanks, Greenbaum! I am not sure if we will get any packets, since we were able to complete the medical already, and DS-160, even while the case is still at NVC. Now just waiting to see when it ships out and then scheduling the interview appointment. Latvia has short wait times, i saw average like 11 days from the day the case arrives at the embassy. I guess it is good to be from a small country! :D
