Wow NVC receiving took a long time 😥

@scooterJones
we actually never got a physical NOA2 or a notice that anything was ever "received" by NVC.
I called USCIS and talked to a guy that said we were approved and that we should get our NOA2 within 30 days and then today (5/28/19) we got an email saying it was being sent to Montreal. The email included our case number.
...i just saw my timeline was incorrect (sorry about that) I fixed it.

^ Just letting you know that you probably want your physical NOA2 if you haven't gotten it by now because you'll need it when you're filing for adjustment of status. They ask for a copy.

@LOve17
Thank you. That was our biggest concern.
It finally came the zip code was wrong they sent it the wrong city... Smh

So you have not gotten your visa in the mail yet?

@scooterJones
No we have not yet.
We are eagerly watching the mailbox!!!

Wow that seems like a long wait. Did you buy the premium shipping?

@scooterjones
Yes we did buy the courier shipping.
It has been 7 days total.
They said up to 2 weeks at the consulate.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
