Hi everyone!

Another fellow March filler here😁 so glad to have this group.

Married: 06 Mar 19

I-130 sent: 22 Mar 19

Package received: 25 Mar 19

NOA1 received: 28 Mar 19

and I have come to join the count down with everyone....🥰

At the bottom left on my NOA1, it says Texas service centre but my receipt number starts with IOE. I read that this means electronic filing. Is this normal? I tried to track that number on UsCIS but it says case number is not there. Should I look into this?

I’m flying over to see my hubby for Easter holiday and am hopeful I don’t get rejected at the border. I am Belgian, working in London, have properties in Belgium. I do have a history of entering and leaving and can travel with ESTA. Do I really need to get my manager to write a letter? I don’t think she will be too happy knowing I have the intention to leave the job once my visa is approved as she just pushed for my promotion.... Would my holiday calendar showing I’m due back after Easter Monday be sufficient lol?

What do you think are the chances of me getting rejected and heading home? 🥵

The time apart is really hard for both of us as my hubby has been quite ill. He can’t fly much so I am trying to fly to see him every month in New York. Thank god flights are affordable around £250 returns if you buy in advance. My 20 days holiday a year had been divided strategically for him.

I really hope we all get our happy endings soon!

Keep looking forward.

Love from London

Hi welcome, my wife is currently in London! Haha. As long as you have strong proof that your coming back then i don’t t see a problem. Having the letter is ver nice to have and I suggest you get it. You don't have to disclose why you asking for the letter if you don't want to. You can tell your manager its just a precaution.

Thanks jimfleuriee!

Is your wife from London? My lawyer said she will see when we get to embassy stage if it is faster to have the interview in London or Brussels. I don’t think there will be much difference though.

I really don’t want to ask my manager for the letter. She will suspect and start digging as she knows I always fly to NY without issues before.😣

Hello, I am not an expert but as you very recently got married and I suppose your manager is aware of it? Maybe you can ask her the letter by explaining that now that you're married you are worried they may be suspisious of you entering US, and don't tell her anything about your plans? If you present this to her that way, I am pretty sure it will work out. Especially since you're planning to do a lot of travelling to the US...and her letters might make a difference.

Good luck to you!

I received IOE reciept and I think it’s ELIS efilling, I cannot see any status online, I already have a Elis accout my self, I wonder if I should create an accout for my Parents application, or if there any way I can combine to mine?

So I looked up the processing times today and I was sure it used to say 7-10 months for I130 now it says 9.5-12 months.... what is going on?! I’m the spouse of an American citizen section....yet the permanent residents time went down?

Yea it changes often. I know😔.

Texas was 7-9 months for US citizen and in 2 days it went up to 8-10 months....

I think the reason PRs time frame is faster than Citizen is because after USCIS stage, applications from PRs will take longer at NVC to get approved than applications from Citizens.

The wait is gonna be long....😓

Well we just got our text from USCIS : we got Nebraska :(

I updated our timeline and upon average estimate we should get our NOA2 not before February 2020. We are devasted!

But there is nothing to do about it!

I also checked out different processing times (US citizen filing for spouse) on USCIS website:

CALIFORNIA : 34.5 - 45 months

NEBRASKA : 9.5 - 12 months

POTOMAC : 8.5 - 11 months

TEXAS : 8 - 10 months

VERMONT : 5 - 7 months

Seems like Texas is better option now then Potomac!

And Nebraska is still better then California!!!

California doesn’t process I-130 for USC.

Potomac processing times are wrong, that processing center has been processing within 4 months. I think they left that number like that to be politically correct. So people don’t complain why the Potomac processing within 4 months and others are 7 months +.
