I think anyone who knowingly makes false accusations such as this or rape or any other similar crime should be sentenced to the same punishment as a person who actually commits such a crime would be sentenced to. Apparently, you can fake a hate crime, blame it on an entire group of people, denigrate an already down in the dumps city and get away with it as long as you have the right friends.

There is still something odd that strikes me about this case. I find it flimsy in both directions.. both the 'evidence' they had against him and Jussie's claims. From what I hear despite the CPD saying Jussie wrote the 'letter' the FBI never determined that at all and they also seemed to feel that the CPD could not prove that the checks he wrote were payment for the 'attack' rather than for 'gym stuff', additionally to have charges expunged like this makes me wonder if there is something else at work here.
