Congrats everyone that had been approved! Iโ€™mย trying to stayย patient, but getting anxious the more approvals I see. I know itโ€™s all part of the process!ย

I noticed that someone with the case number after ours has been approved. Is that a good sign for us or does it really not mean anything? I know thereโ€™s littleย way to predict the way they process these. Just curious andย trying to stay positive!ย

I'mย  sorry to say it does not mean anything, you are doingย  the best thing you can do by staying posiive. It will come and you'll be fine.

I hadnโ€™t checked the website all week after leaving my Fiancรฉ in Kenya on Tuesday. Well turns out I should have, we were approved on April 23!! Our count was 88 days. God is good! ๐Ÿ˜ And yes I still need to get on my computer to update my profile, but I did update my timeline. So excited for the next step. We are super ahead of schedule. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

Congratulations.

ย

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look atย the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

ย

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

ย

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

ย

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

ย

ย

Also, join us here for additional information. See the first post in this thread for tips on navigating the next steps.

Thanks

We see some that go 299 days without an answer and they stay positive. They also during that time saw many before them that were approved. Just have to have patience.

Greenbaum's Tips:

ย

Here is a tool to see others from your country and see where they are in the process especially those who are near your submit dates.

ย

Go to the top blue ribbon and select "portals" (you can select your flag from your profile) and then along the left column scroll down to the last section titled "VJ (your country name) timelines. Select K-1 and out populates a chart with all those from your country and you can then see where you are in comparison to others.
