Hahah I'm hoping for March 28th! (Beirut embassy doesn't do Friday appts) but this would go well with out April 15th goal of entry. 🤞🤞

You seem so on top of everything, I'm just guessing you'll nail that March 28 date.    If I see our case shipped next week, I'm going to book flights a trip to Bangkok for the month of April.  That builds in a three week buffer on the back side of my projection, and if she gets it sooner, all the better !!    She indicated she'd like me to tag along on the first trip to US.   We kept this whole thing pretty quiet, so gonna be some shocked looks when she show up in the US.

Greenbaum, can you make a recommendation for AOS posts?    I have not yet quite figured out the VJ search engine to find good ones on my own...........actually, a post on that might be helpful too.  😕

I'm lost on a number of issues like although it seems K-1s go to Chicago, but the processing times site   https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ gives lots of different locations, and timing varies widely.  Also, I don't think we need the EAD, but seems it's free when submitted with i-485.  Can you do the same with the I-131?  Guessing you can submit immediately after marriage.  Is it really 13-34 months processing time?    Do ya hope for under 24 months or over 24 months to avoid the condition removal?

Why am I getting errors in DS-160. I'm trying to retrieve my ds-160 to continue filling out other details, suddenly I can't seem to retrieve it. I fill in the correct application id and the first 5 letter of my surname and my birth year, it prompts that the first 5 letter and year doesn't match... how come? Please anyone help. Does anyone experience this kind of error in ds-160?

Which browser are you using?  I was unable to complete the DS-160 using Safari.  I used Google Chrome and I didn't have any issues.

Give a few hours and log back on using a different browsers. IE and Safari seem to be troublesome.

I think google chrome is a bit troublesome when it comes to accomplishing this ds-160, it always give me errors in retrieving my application. I just finished my ds-160 using internet explorer latest version and didn't even gave me any problem. Tried to retrieve my application and VOILA...😉.

Just have one slight question about my uploaded picture. Is it really a bit blurry after successful upload?

At the interview should I submit the same letters of intend we submitted with the first application, or should we submit new ones?

You should have new ones with a date closer to the interview. It shows that you both still intend to marry. Some couples don’t survive the process and aren’t even together anymore by the time they get noa2.. so that’s why it’s important and it helps with the “proof of ongoing relationship” we resigned ours about 2 weeks before the interivew... but they didn’t even ask for any of it st the interview. But it’s best to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

It doesn't make sense though.  If the couples aren't together anymore, then who would provide the beneficiary with the I-134 or original birth certificate that's required at the interview?

I have two questions. First, does the P3 letter require a letter of intent? If not then there is no need for a new one. Two, if you were to re-submit the first letter from your 129f application what changes would you make now that would require a new one?

If it is not a required document from the P3 interview documents then there is no need to produce one. Sorry, but I used your logic I'd have to bring the kitchen sink in the event they wanted to see it. Do what do will do and nothing more.

Check your P3 letter and your question will be answered.

Your answer is spot on. If couples aren't together anymore then who will show up for the interview. No ONE so letter of intent is not needed.

Also, it’s not about making sense. It’s about having everything and anything that they could possibly ask for ready to hand to them if they do ask for it. Like I said they didn’t ask for a single piece of evidence from us. But I’ve seen where others didn’t even have enough
