NOA2 1/22 here.

I called yesterday, but they said they have not received my case.  Maybe I'll call again today.

Our NOA2 was 1/15 and it took 18 days to get a # assigned.  I called prior to that date and each time was told that the file had not been received.

Ok, this seems like a dumb question that I shouldn't have to ask, but is the A number the little number (A### ### ###) above the beneficiary's name on NOA2?

I have one above my name as well, maybe because I'm a citizen by birth to US citizens?

My fiancé called USCIS today and they said that it's in transit as of February 4th (NOA approval 1/18). I really hope it gets there before the next shipment.

Yes, You can book now.  I booked my fiance's appt earlier today Philippine time

So basically we have to wait until the CEAC says "ready" to book the interview?

But once we get the NVC case number by phone, we can fill out the ds160, pay the fee, get the finger prints, and medical. Im just trying to figure out what I need to do once the NVC gives me the case number.

I'm not sure of the exact procedure for the DR.  For the Philippines when we get the NVC number and the email from the NVC we are able to do the medical.  The Philippines don't do the fingerprints until the interview so that's why I say I'm not sure what the steps are for the DR.  All the countries are different.  The best person to ask is someone from the DR who already passed that stage or ask @Greenbaum

AOS Timeline (I-485, I-765, I-131)

1/31/2020:  Biometrics completed

2/20/2020:  RFE

I asked Greenbaum. And he sent most of the info for DR. I'm just a little unsure on some things. I'll do more research. He has helped with alot already.

I just got an email response from my case inquiry using AskNVC. We got our MNL case number, no dates included of when they issued the case number. I checked CEAC and it says "At NVC". Do you guys think that "At NVC" status at CEAC is updated? I'll try to check CEAC once in a while to make sure...so happy 😋

And by the way, our NOA2 was January 11.

You should be making the 19 February shipment date
