Aww thanks for that & congrats for your pregnancy, hope it all goes well. ❤️

i can now say iv been thinking right lol, otherwise I thought I was gone crazy thinking of the future. I am hoping I could get mine mid dec too, so that I’m done and dusted by the time everyone comes (grans and fiancée), what I’m thinking is surely it can’t go any longer but who knows, the US embassy in Tanzania doesn’t seem too busy but I’m just guessing with the people I see on here and Facebook.

With my tickets im not sure either, he will come and he will book his tickets now, if im lucky I’d be able to get in with him otherwise yeah 1-2 days would be ok to leave just after.

Thank you! 17 weeks now and seems to be a girl 🤞 (####### of a doctor made a hint even though I said I didnt want to know-Rob and I wanted to learn it together)

You will see, time until the interview will pass in blink of an eye. I’ve talked to people who got their visa here in my embassy recently and by all accounts it should go fast after NOA2. Same will be for you! 🍀

I think so! I just had a friend get approved from the interview, and they didn’t ask for the affidavit of support or any new evidence just asked a few questions and bam.

We are hoping to have the interview by March 2019 (Juarez is a very busy consulate and there are no intervies before that date) it might be April, depending on how fast we can get NVC number and case ready... Right now we are planning him to visit again in January and I'll send a suitcase with my things with him. In the mean time, I just started a new job (more money) and I'm saving as much as I can...

I'm also selling things I don't need, taking care of my passport renewal, etc.

Aww sounds like a plan, it’s good atleast you’ll see eachother in the meantime.

Moving to another country is hard, you could take this time to figure out what things will you bring to the US and plan according to it, I came to Mexico with only 2 suitcases and I'm pretty sure I'll need another one (even after sending one full suitcase with him on the next visit lol).

Also get documents in order, if you want to study or work at the US, find what you will need for that, have some birth certificates extra besides the one for the interview, have them apostilled just in case... same with your academic papers.

I could go on and find things to keep you busy uintil you move 😂

Hi @Greenbaum

I was going over the list of what's needed to be sent for my Country's Embassy, and there is a Notice saying that both the petitioner and beneficiary must submit all the documents listed below.

It shouldn't be a problem getting all the document that are required for the beneficiary since he lives there, however do you how am I supposed to get a military record from here? or other stuff like police records.

I would greatly appreciated it if you could help.

It surely is, iv already moved from Australia 5 months ago, I don’t really have anything apart from the clothes but iv gathered a few more again lol and I have one suit case coming from Australia soon. I and him both love shoes and we have different pairs for different outfits but iv told him to watch what he brings coz he has to take one of my suit case lol.

Ill start with the documents tomorrow, I pretty much have everything. Iv asked him to get his from work and bank and he’ll send them straight as soon as possible.

iv just seen someone talking about medicals, can that be done now or we have to wait for something?

Oh, I know the shoes struggle... that was my case I renewed pretty much all my clothes in the past 2 years and I'm pretty sure it went a little out of control lol

About the medical, I have no idea yet, I think it will depend on your consulate workload, as I said in my case it wouldnt make sense to have medical now becasue either way I'll have to travel to Juarez for interview an medical is in a walk in clinic next to the consulate, I could have it the day before my interview or so. Remember the Visa expiration counts from the date of the medical exam and not from the interview itself (that's what I read here).

Aww, it’s just sad that I can’t find much info about the Consulate in Tanzania on here, but I don’t think I could do ipthe medical either as yet as I’ll have to travel too. So would be much easier for me to get my medical done before the interview. I wonder how long it’d take to get the results and send them or take them to the embassy.

Wow didn’t think the visa expiration would count from the medicals lol.

Do you have a copy of your DD-214 discharge papers? That document will satisfy them.

You as the petitioner do not submit any police records as the application is the document used to search all databases including but not limited to FBI.

I'm sorry I gave you the wrong information as I was thinking this was for you the petitioner and it is not it's for the beneficiary. He should have gotten a discharge papers when he got out of the military. Does he not have that?

The police certificate is both local and if he has lived in another country since the age of 16 for more than 6 months at a time. Has he lived in another country for more then 6 months?

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

I just called NVC today. They said it may takes up to 6 weeks for them to receive the case from USCIS. It's long!
