Am I reading this correctly? Do I need to mail this to my fiancé country so it’s original with a wet signature? Or can I just scan it and email?

Looks like it's asking specifically for "wet" signature. Yup. Fill out and send it.

So did you fill out the affidavit then fly it over there? How is this e-friendly?

There doesn't appear to be a consistent official policy on accepting scanned and signed I-134 forms by embassies and consulates, though at least some people have been fine with them.

I stuck a folder with a copy in a box with Christmas presents (which aren't there yet, but between USPS and Russian mail, that's hardly unexpected).

Friends were going back to Europe so i gave them sealed envelope with affidavit of support (with wet signature) to give to my fiance, including all supporting paperwork.
Otherwise i would've sent it. DHL is like 30-40$ Express shipping to Lithuania, for a couple of pages. Better safe than sorry.

Ok one more question.  Once we paid the fee we were greeted with the ability to make the appointment.

We clicked on Schedule your appointment it and it didn't show us available dates, it just said it will be reviewed.

Does this mean I can schedule, or should I wait for them to acknowledge they received my package 3 documents (affidavit, ect.)

Should we have waited to mail all the documents prior to clicking this?

Where was there a statement that this process is "e-friendly"? I must of missed that. Each embassy is different. Some require an original signature and others will accept a scanned copy. Check with your embassy to determine what they require.

Read through the information below.

NOTE: The I-134 requires a "wet" signature. This has been verified just last month from someone who completed her interview and she inquired as to the requirement and that is what she was told. She was already prepared with the proper signature so it was not an issue.

Your embassy requires a "wet" signature. If you trust the mail to get it there and on time then send it that way otherwise FedEx or DHL are good options.

I sent an original I-864 to my wife in Taiwan for her interview in 2017.....I sent it via USPS Global express......It was expensive (about $60.00) , but she received it in 5 business days.....

What's the fastest method to get this from LA to Berlin?

Anyone heading to germany today, I was hoping she would mail this to Frankfurt before the xmas break.

Hi guys, what does qualify as a payment confirmation for the online payment option?  I don't think i received any official payment receipts.

For us, once the payment went through, it gave us the option to schedule an appointment.  Not sure if there is any other receipts.
