Same PD here. The wait’s been crazy.

Hi all! Just got my NVC approval (yay) - and they will reach out to the US embassy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Does anyone have any idea how long it can take for them to get in touch + communicate your interview date? Thanks so much!

I checked our case status online, and this is what appears: "On September 27, 2019, we sent your case, Receipt Number *************, to the Department of State for visa processing."

I didn't get a NOA2 via email. So I'm not sure what it means.  Does anybody know?

Do you have an account online? If you do sign in and check your case history. You might of gotten approved without knowing it. Also check you mailbox to see if you received the physical letter.

Still waiting 😐

We've done two inquiries now and next step is my wife contacting her Congresswoman's office to see what they can find out.

Oh America, I just want to be there with my family.  I'm gonna bring in money from Canada like every two weeks 😛

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this :( I was just wondering about you guys the other day and now I'm hoping you're holding up alright. I know how frustrating it is to have your case seemingly be in a black hole. We didn't end up having to reach out to my husband's congresswoman to get unstuck (thankfully he was able to resolve the issue with tier 2 only) but I hope that they are able to make some progress on your behalf.

Please keep us updated and hopefully your nightmare at USCIS will be over very soon!

Thank you.  We Tier 2'd over a month ago and never heard back at all.  It really is beyond discouraging and it weighs on us every day.  My stepson is old enough now that he understands that I can't be there often for some reason, but not old enough that he really gets it, so he's always asking if I have to go or if I'm going to be there tonight or tomorrow or whatever, which is heartbreaking.  But we'll make it through.

Only just saw that you were finally approved but wanted to say congratulations all the same!! Here's hoping that the rest of the process will be swift and you'll be home with your family ASAP :)
