had to transfer from Moscow to Almaty, Kazakhstan, I could not be their with her.  I think because ther is 23 years difference th interviewer ###-u-me-d that she was only comming to America for work, and denied her the Visa.  now it's on its way ack to the USCIS for review, and he recomended the petition be revoked! i can't express my Anger!

Couldn't schedule the time off from work, They acutually scheduled the Interview very quickly after recieving the packet.  I work in a small shop that aready had others on vacation at that time.

Well they would not have rejected just because of the age, anything else relevant?

Howe many times did you meet? How long each time? What evidence did you provide with the I-130? Any more with NVC? Any more at the interview?

Do you have any other red flags?

Age alone is not a reason for denial, but combined with other signs it can lead them to believe the marriage is not bona fide.

I-129F We met in person only once.  We communicate daily but using what's App and viber.   Rarely do we use email.   I hope it gets returned, then I will be there no matter what to be with her And her beautiful daughters.   If not I will go to be with her And we will get married there.

That's a pretty serious red flag in many consulates (not all).

 

If returned, it will sit to expire in accordance with USCIS policy. It will NOT be reaffirmed and sent back to the consulate, despite the DOS process for returning it for review. USCIS has their own policies, which are currently to let it expire.

Marry, meet more (Edit: or meet more then marry...key point is to spend more time in person), and do the CR-1 process by filing an I-130.

How long was your one in-person interaction?  What specific questions were asked in the interview?  What specific answers were given?

 

Meet more, then marry.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

How good is her English? Or do you speak Russian? Have you petitioned anyone before? Was she married to the father of her children? If so, how long ago did that marriage end?

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Your senator can not do anything. It's a waste of time. once a k1 is denied, its DEAD. you need to spend more in person time together, then either file another k1 or get married and file a cr1. 

i 485, 130, EAD and AP

11/7/2019      Interview- Norfolk

11/10/2019    APPROVED (notification rec'd 11/10, approval dated 11/8)

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

When you know you know that's it its just a love and you can't explain to somebody People are get marry to person that they lived together for over two or more years and get married but finally divorced I can understand him his feelings

I will agree with this only because of the kids. 

I'm amazed that you can say that you're amazed anyone can be ready to marry someone after one visit. I'm pretty sure lots of others on here have only visited once. It can be really tough to go half-way around the world many times when someone has a full time job and limited vacation. I think that is not a good thing to judge people on when going through this tough process.
