I got my RFE in the mail today and I've been asked to send more evidence.

***There's is a self addressed envelope to USCIS in the mail and I would like to know if my reply to USCIS must be in the self addressed envelope?

***I also saw this sentence " Include duplicate copies if you are requesting consular notification". I don't know what this means. Anyone with knowledge about these should throw more light please. Tnx in advance.

We need to know what the more evidence was for..there are a myriad of topics that would relate to more evidence requested. Please elaborate and also please tell us what you did send in.

Mine came with a prepaid/preaddressed envelope. I put my paperwork in there, then put that in a priority envelope I found at the post office that had a full front clear window, so there was no writing out addresses or anything and I was able to send it priority and get the tracking number. got there in two days.

We sent in pictures with handwritten dates again as well as 2 letters from friends stating they knew about our meeting etc.  Our RFE specifically asked for photos with handwritten dates and letters.

I sent one  picture with hand written dates and location at the reverse side. I also sent flight itinerary as I couldn't find  my boarding pass anymore. As for stamps on international passport, mine wasn't stamped cos I  traveled with my CAC( Common Access Card- US Army)

Hmm..that might be the issues... passport stamps seem to be the best for evidence...so see if you can get any record of your cac... any money transactions while you were in the country and any proof of hotels or activities that you did together with both of your names..? And a letter explaining your CAC? Just some suggestions....

Customs should have a complete record of your travels by air and sea (not by land) BUT I don't know what loops you'd have to go through to get a copy. You can ask, though. Try calling them at 1 (877) 227-5511.
