You apparently know everything.  A person can easily be turned around and put on the next plane from where they came if there is suspicion of the person entering the country to work, etc...   A visitor visa, 10 years or not can be cancelled at any time.  Thank you for all your infinite wisdom.  From now on I'll just instant message you because you appear to have all the answers.  🤣

You forgot the part if denied, even her visa is automatically canceled.

I most certainly do not know everything, nor am I the bearer of infinite wisdom. I am simply debating this post, do you agree or disagree with the post?

@Naes Why are people this way on this site?

She’s asking for trouble. She was extremely lucky that she was allowed entry. She should count her blessings because that most IOs would have denied her entry. Like others have said, who can take that much time off to travel? Asking for an extension will almost likely result in denial and possibly more. She could have her visa revoked or if nothing happens the next time she tries to visit she could be denied. If she doesn’t want any trouble with future visits to the US leave before the 2 month mark or she will be in a lot of trouble.

A lot of this does not really matter.

For whatever reason she was admitted for 2 months.

She can of course apply for an extension but has no good reason and it is likely to be denied, but they seem to take a long time in reviewing these.

So she applies, leaves and then what happens when she seeks to enter next time, could be a not very nice conversation.

Also possible, not likely that the Consulate would cancel the visa, has happened.

As a person who’s only been to one forum (vj) in all my life, I just came to the conclusion of “debating and discussions are hard on forums (or on written form)” especially when everyone has a different experience (too many variables on these journeys)... things get mixed up, misunderstandings happen... (sometimes none of these happen but I happen to have magic up my bum...)

ps_I've just read and I would debate that post too... I believe @Boiler made an awesome summary of this situation tho.
