New York AOS 2018 Filers

Not to be a downer, but just a quick reminder, that if your status changes to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for an Interview", it doesn't mean much unfortunately in NYC.  Ours has said that for 118 days, and I've heard of people waiting for their interview/greencard for well over a year.

Hi everyone, today got an email from uscis it says  :
``We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time``.

What this means,does anyone has this experience ?

Hi New Yorker here, just filed AOS from K1. Package was signed for on Dec 3rd so just waiting for NOA now.

We're flying out to Sweden from JFK this afternoon, coming back in January on combo, I don't really have any worries other than losing my combo card while in Sweden.

 

Anyone here have any news on their GCs?

Does anyone know if the interview for AOS is mandatory now? I know before you weren't always called in for an interview if you arrived on a K-1 visa, but is it still like that?

Case approved. In all about a 10 month wait.

Glad to see there's a dedicated thread for NYC filers! Unfortunately, I think I was getting my hopes up looking at other timelines and forgetting that approvals in NYC are slow-going. My last update was that my biometrics review was completed last week, so looks like I'm in for a long wait until the next step.
