While I personally understand your point; They want the full document is all, as with any document.  I've been told even for birth certificate, you should send a copy of the back, even if it's blank - some states have info on the front and back.

Perhaps there could be something in the middle pages that for whatever reason they don't like, I have no idea...

I will have to wait and see, hopefully it will suffice..  My beneficiary was divorced twice and I sent the certified copy from the court on both of those as well.

We're Nov 2nd. You think I would be able to call uscis tomorrow and check on our case? Or its better to call congressman first?

Today is 209 days for us. 😕  Our case is very basic and not complicated either.

Jela (USC, Missouri) & Ben (East Indian in Dubai)

Adjusting Status from Conditional Green Card after K1 Visa:
4-20-21 Sent 751 packet (via USPS overnight)

4-21-21 Received by USCIS (Signed by T. Wright)

5-7-21   Receipt date on our 797 (extending GC for 18 months) {we included G-1145, got a text, but no email - for those curious.}

5-8-21   Received Text message from USCIS with receipt number, Assigning service center SRC. (@12:35pm)

5-10-21  Check cashed/cleared our bank

5-13-21  Hard copy of 797 Received in postal mail

5-17-21 Received email notice update from USCIS account that on 17th they used his previous biometrics for 751.

5-21-21 Biometrics letter received in postal mail.

I would do both... maybe call USCIS and ask for tier 2 first, and if that is unhelpful, then your congressmen/senator.

I spoke with my senator's office today, their office was less than helpful and told me it might take 30 days for them to get an answer...

A friend advised calling both senators and my congressman....

Congressman in general are more helpful than Senators in most cases when dealing directly with the public. Senators seem to be so much busier. That is what I have observed.

Contacted my congressman yesterday and received an answer from a senior congressional staff member today after they contacted USCIS on my behalf.

I Quote. "We were informed that it(your petition) was recently assigned to an officer for adjudication, and that you can expect action in this matter within the next 45 days. We would be happy to continue to follow-up with the agency on your behalf periodically."

Our congressman in our area is very much pro immigration and has fought for people with immigration challenges. Even with that the best he could do was report back what USCIS reported to him with all his pull and influence. So it is bittersweet. At least I know it is assigned to an officer but it might take up to 45 days.
