Just a follow-up guys. Immigration took her less than 20 minutes at JFK and she said the people we're super nice. Actually had to move her flight to RDU up to one 3 hours earlier so she wouldn't have to be stuck at JFK so long. Had her first trip to Five Guys and Waffle House and now she is sound asleep. Exhausted from a 30+ hour trip but truly great day.

Welcome to Raleigh my home town. Is she going to become a Carolina Hurricane fan? My wife is from the Philippines and she loves hockey. Every years she picks a player and the next year that player gets traded. :jest: So every year I know which players are going to be traded at the end of the season. :D

We are going to Charlotte tomorrow to see Liverpool FC(her favorite team) play at Bank of America. Not much of a hockey fan myself but we will be going to see the Panthers at the Redskins in October.

I love Five Guys! Californians can keep their In n Out! LOL
BTW, so when you say had to move her flight up 3 hours earlier, did you do that or did the airlines? Just curious cos I have quite a long layover as well and I wanted to get to Jacksonville ASAP. TIA

You can try calling the airlines and see if they are willing to move you up to an earlier flight but beware there maybe additional charges. What I suggest is that when you land for that long layover that you go to the ticketing counter and see if you can go standby on that next flight. Usually if they have room they will let you without charging you a fee. My wife is flying back from Philippines and has a 9 hour layover in Chicago and I know there is more flights and possibly on another airlines that they can go standby.

Ok, thanks for this tip. I'll definitely do that then. Really hoping I get to go on an earlier flight... looong journey ahead and it's exhausting just thinking about it. Just want to get there already!

Called Delta and had them do it. Paid 75 dollars but probably could have got it free of I had time to argue with them as I have before. Was a first class rewards ticket.

I haven't been here for a while, but I hope everyone's doing well!

i had my interview in Tokyo yesterday and we were approved! Now just waiting for my passport. I'm going to review my experience at the embassy soon.

Thank you for everyone who has always supported us!! More ways to go when we start AOS, but as of now, I'm happy to take some breaks!:)

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Congrats on getting approval for your interview!! I recently received my NOA2 approval for my fiance in Japan.  At what stage did you schedule your interview with the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo?

@Rami91 and @angigi  Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question(s).

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Excellent! :dancing: Now I have an idea what country your processing through. I can help you now, where as before I won't have gone digging for someone's country affiliation. Here is my first act of kindness; the P3 letter with everything the Embassy in Japan is requiring from you.

Since my fiancé entered the US 3 weeks ago and has been minimum 5 times and that’s only 5 times because I refuse to eat it more than that lol.
