 They publish that it may take 60 days. They also have an official requirement that it has to be answered in 84 days. But, after 60 days you can submit a case inquiry.

 

The length generally depends on the cause of the RFE. "Simple" RFEs (missing checkbox, missing letter of intent, etc.) generally take days to a couple weeks IMO. More complex ones (i.er. if verification of documents needs to be done) can take weeks or months.

No1 new site May 1

Approved date October 29

 

My fiance received a text then he went to USCIS old site and it was an approval notice.

 I feel so frustrated on the past days coz ive seen an approval ahead of my notice date. And my fiance has a minor crimal record when he was 18 years old but he didnt disclosed so im a little bit confused if they gonna deny us or i will get a rfe but thanks God the long wait is over.. For those who was not approve yet just pray and it will be given to you.

Hello I see theough informed mail. I Have USCIS Letter coming in today through the envlope screenshot I see it dated 10/23 pages 1of 1 

package recievd on april 27 and processed on May 2nd . Check cashed on May 3rd . 

Let me post here the screenshot , is this look like approval or RFE please ? Anybody familer with the look of the letter ? 

By the way no update on both new and old site , it just says , recieved .

The RFE letter has a different look.  So it looks like you are receiving a NOA.

They received my case April 25th, NOA1 April 30th and cashed check May 1st.
Still nothing yet and its been 187 days out.
Seeing a lot of other cases around my time approved. congrads for all. hope mines comes also but it is really stressful waiting.

Noa1 old site April 20th new April 25th and still nothing day 192 here
