as per the previous posts,  others have been receiving their NOA2, so that Dec 21, might be their official date they are saying just to be safe, but again, it does seem January 2018 filers are getting approved already.  Your very welcome.

December 21st is the day that would be outside normal processing time. If ur petition was sent on or before that date u can contact uscis and ask what's going on.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I’m going to to have some faith that it will move up rapidly! I know this wait is exhausting and troubling.  I do believe if we all come together as a group we can mentally get Our higher power to move this for us. My Petition was sent on a received on a Thursday and I had NOA1 notice less than a weeks time. So we are in the struggle together on this one, my petition to the Universe, God give them overtime and push forward to April, ASAP! 🙏🏽

As April filers, should we be expecting our NOA2 on November? That would pretty much cover the 7 month waiting period, which seems to be the case as I scroll through the January filers thread. If I'm wrong please correct me. Thanks.

Be safer bet to think December tbh. Processing times are currently about 7.6 months.

Oh and reason we see no movement on the processing times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays often apparently is because home workers take files home to work on then bring them back and input results  Friday/Monday

I checked the current visa journey timelines for people who have updated.  I went thru around 50 cases of the latest ones updated.  The approvals average 195 days.  Some right at 6 months and some over 7 months.  Most fell in between.  They may have picked up their speed somewhat after march and the 7.6 month approval.  I feel they probably did and much of the delay was figuring out the new computer system they installed.

I hope they pick up their speed. Guys when are we expected to get our passports back from the embassy? March end? Or at least Consulate recieved date? January? I have noticed people who get NOA2 in mid November onwards have NVC recieved date of mid January...that's a really long Christmas break tbh.

My fiance and I want to take a little relaxing trip before my POE. We want to make travel arrangements and hotel bookings in advance. It's getting really confusing and frustrating.

Yes it seems to me to take 2 or 3 months after noa2 to get the actual visa

Checking the unapproved petitions for CSC for August for example there’s a mass of members you can’t click on so guessing we have no way of knowing if they’ve been approved or not thinking it’s just they haven’t logged in for 6 months or more? Wonder if that’s the case

I hope they pick up speed to our expected noa2 date is first week of November! Already so over this wait and hitting the mid noa1-noa2 slump that for us to hit Christmas break territory would be yuck!!

Because of Work leave allowances I can usually only spend a week at a time with my fiancé but planning a two week visit over Christmas/new year  (my leave calendar runs January to December) to keep us sane!!
