Thanks Lotts. I called delta and they said that they no longer put pets on hold in the cargo so i can take georgie with me in the cabin for $200. I'm nervous for him and what the passengers might say about having a cat in the cabin. Might have to bring treats for both my cat and the passengers around us.  Hopefully he would behave and stay calm. I believe @Naes traveled with 2 cats to los angeles. Might have to ask her again how she did it and prepared for it. I still have about a month before i leave so i think i can prepare georgie for the trip beforehand.

they are both happy healthy (and chill) California cats by now! (Delta was sooooo easy to deal with)
