NOA1 June 27

NOA2 March 19

Waiting now on NVC to receive our case and assign a case number, and wishing to bring over my Junebugs still behind @KBA @LydiaP @Lisa123 @Jabberwocky1969 @garylenhall @Katemdedo

@Martin3517 and inviting over @AnxiousCitizen to the next step of our journey.

Yikes! Still so many June bugs? This is just crazy. They really need to get their act together at USCIS and get these people their approvals ASAP. No one should have to be at 300+ days  😤😱😡

Our petition is "READY" but only 2 derivatives show up.  We have the K-1 and two K-2s.  Is there one missing or are both K-2s listed together?

Love you guys!!

seriously can’t  explain how much this made me feel better. I don’t think I’ll be able to join march topic with you.

but well one myth went down! Nope simplicity of the case doesn’t mean anything.. I even double asked my fiancé “are you sure you never had trouble” well... he joined navy at the age of 19 and had honorable discharge so.... he just looked at me puzzled...

my problem is my job kinda put me in a place where I have to give a definite answer by first week of May if I’m staying longer or not... cause I need to go to France for 3 months...so if I don’t get it in 2 weeks I’ll either have to somehow extend the noa2 validity or just cancel this and get married and restart everything.

Does anyone know know if I can extend for personal reasons?

PS_ @LizM girl it’s really not smoking 🤣🤣🤣 in japan they show exhaustion like in animes by showing their soul is running out of their body....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂 promise no bong smoking happening... but yep all kinds of stress related health issues started to show up... cause they signed me up for a 4000$ worth training....and I cant even give them a definite answer....

Once you get approval and your file is sent to your Embassy you have one year to COMPLETE the process or your application goes DEAD and you will have start over and prepare yourself to explain to the CO why you let your first application go dormant. Make your plans accordingly.  Good luck.

Hahaha I love that you attached a little explanation to assure everyone it's not smoking anything :D:rofl: On a more serious note though, I'm not sure that a soul running out of a body is much better. Take care of yourself sweetie! We're all rooting for you.

Also, I mean I know it's easier said than done, but don't let your work interfere too much with your plans. You're ready to leave Japan and, frankly, your croc-wearing colleagues. You already shipped over most of what you own, including your cats. Having to cancel the visa and being put in France does not sound like a step in the right direction here. But I hope all of this is soon a non-issue because the NOA2 will come for you.

SO many people I want to see here but especially @JSCGPV who really ought to be here, actually probably should have been on the NVC February thread to be perfectly honest.  This journey is still SO sucky for so many people and it makes me sad in the midst of all my excitement that June and July peeps have still seen no movement. ( I won't jinx them with sad face emoji's)

Well, looks like you did not jinx it at least :) Congratulations @JSCGPV and welcome!

Hi. After 7 months, just got our noa2 in the mail today :) Im excited to be part of this group now. So noa2 is 03/21. And my embassy will be Montreal. One of the vj’ers had their file sent electronically. Does it mean Montreal is an embassy who wants them electronically?

I am in the same boat as you! I am so curious about Montreal dates. Also curious..are you in QC or somewhere else? I am in Alberta and the medical is going to be tricky!!

My case status just changed to ready but when i try to create the application to schedule the interview it states it's not ready for an interview. Has anyone else experience this?

I’m sure this has been asked so I’m sorry!

Where my status is now “in transit” it states that my interview date has been provided by the national visa centre... I haven’t been contacted with a date?! I thought we booked our own interview?

It is just the wording. Some embassies don’t let individuals schedule so in those cases NVC or the embassy provides the date. If your embassy let’s you chose, it won’t apply to you.
