For those that have filed their N-400; on the section were is asks about time outside the US in the last 5 years did you only put the trips in the last 3 years since we are filing as marriage based? I would think we only count the last 3 years even though they ask for 5 but with USCIS I want to be absolutely sure I am doing this right. To me I would think it was common since that our spouses were outside the US for the 2 years before marriage...

Did anyone notice that the n400 application online recently changed to include a separate section for marriage evidence, evidence of spousal citizenship, and then additional evidence?  Before, it was just tax returns and additional evidence, but they've made it more clear now!

Just because I don' have time to do my own paperwork because I am too busy, I do have a lawyer that did it for me. She told me that because the form says 5 years, you do have to provide the list of travels of the previous 5 years. I would recommend to put five years and fill the form as it is ask. If you put extra information it would not hurt you but if you lack information they might think you are trying to hide something, so better to be safe.

I started my application and saved it until the due date to submit.

 I see for attachment is : copy of GC, copy of marriage certificate, copy of 3 year taxes and copy of birth cert for kids. 

 

I dont see however evidence of spousal citizenship nor I see  a dedicated section for "marriage evidence"
