  1. Thank you! I’m trying to be relaxed about the process.
  2. My husband did his biometrics since May 2018 but of case has not been updated to Fingerprint Review Completed like everyone else’s. When I call USCIS automated system it can’t give information on our case. And, the account is locked. Is that a signal of an issue?
  3. As of tomorrow my husband is eligible to apply for naturalization. Should I just send updated evidence?
  4. We can file as early as Dec 15 of this year. In my state the wait is about 8 months. So it will be around the same time as the I751 process should be completely. So, we might as well do on shot.
  5. just dont give a damn about it but can you send me the link somehow?

  6. We haven’t got anything beyond the 1 year extension
  7. Thanks for the info. I’ll take a look.
  8. Thank you! Do you have any idea how far in advance you can renew before it expires? My fear is that if we have to do a renewal after the expiry date we won’t have a valid passport for our interview in March. His passport also expires in March.
  9. Looking for some advice. I know it’s a long time off, but my husband’s Trinidadian passport expires right around the middle of March 2019. This is just about the time we may get called for an interview or get an approval. How big of a deal will an expired passport be? I don’t think we can get it renews until it’s expired. And, because we are in the US, it will take 3 to 4 months to get a new one. Trying to figure out a way to handle this seamlessly.
  10. Did my biometrics last Friday and no new update. Says the same as before. No info available, call USCIS. Another issue, our biometrics letter has the same case number as the extension letter. Thought I read somewhere it should be a different case number.
  11. Congratulations! Biometrics done last Friday. We got there 45 mins early and they took us early. Just one person ahead of us. In and out in 15 mins. We can file his N 400 after December 15th of this year. Now for the long waiting game.
  12. Wondering if it’s typical for them to send you to another state for your biometrics. We live in CT, but they set the appointment in NY. We actually live closer to NY than Hartford, so I get it. But I’m mostly wondering if our final decision will be in NY as well. Apparently, there is a USCIS office in Westchester NY, Portchester area nonetheless. Eye raising to me because it’s Westchester’s largest Hispanic community.
  13. Biometrics appointment received. Not sure if it came yesterday or today. Appointment is for 5/4.
  14. Yay!!! Biometrics are coming in!! Congrats to you guys that have a date. Haven’t been able able to check our from yesterday, but I will when I get home tonight. Maybe we got one too.
