OMG does the petitioner now have to send beneficiaries birth certificate?

I think we didn't send it.

The 129f only requires the petitioner's BC. The beneficiary will present theirs at the Embassy interview.

How many of you all have actually received the approval letter after a USCIS agent told you on the phone that you got approved? If you got it, how many days it took to get to you? Reason I am asking is because I just got off the phone with a tier 2 and he told me my case was approved as of yesterday. Now idk if i should believe that because I called 3 days straight and I kept getting the generic answer. I am just skeptical of what changed today? Maybe he just wanted me to stop calling lol.

My understanding is once it's posted on site it normally takes 3 to 5 days to receive hard copy.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Hi everyone!

My Fiancé (petitioner) called USCIS yesterday and was told that they didn't send the optional biometrics to me in the mail yet. What does that mean? Wasn't there a form about biometrics that needed to be included in the past along with the I-129F that isn't necessary anymore since they added it to the form?

I have no idea if it means that we're approved or not, or if that means an RFE. I'm very confused. Still no changes on the website either.

Any idea of what that could mean? thank you in advance!

Will do, thank you!

I also asked my fiancé to look into it when he wakes up (different timezones woohoo) so hopefully we'll have a more clear answer later today :)

ugh me too! I'm getting very disappointed. And seeing everyone with a NOA1 date WAAAY after ours getting approved doesn't help. I know I shouldn't compare my case to others but its frustrating. I've called twice and both tier 2 officers gave me very generic answers! Try to keep your head up! Our approvals will be here soon!
