  1. You dont get to decide where to file. Like I live in Virginia so they put me into the Norfolk office. my NOA1 was May 20th. It would be good if you fill out your timeline, so people can help you easier!
  2. Oh its because you didnt have both of the biometrics done. Once you did them, they will update your case too! Mine went from: Received to something about my biometrics appointments, then Interview ready to be scheduled, Interview scheduled and now its "New card being produced".
  3. Yeah two biometrics appointments have been very common in the past months. Also there are two trackers: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ For me it only updates on the first website! Cheers, Darline
  4. Hey just a heads up since I am from germany too. I did not include any proof in our AOS package except the marriage certificate. We didnt get an RFE and we have our interview tomorrow. So keep the evidence you have until you have the interview. Because they will ask "do you have any other proof than what you sent with the AOS" and that makes that proof kinda useless imo. So keep it
  5. Tomorrow we will be having our Interview in Norfolk... I'm excited but also scared. I hope I have everything they need from us.
  6. Yeah as NikLR said, you really have to take the NOA1 with you in case there are any questions. Its the only proof you have after the I94 becomes invalid. Only thing I would suggest tho. If your NOA1 is in the new name and she doesnt have her passport or ID with the new name, I would take a copy of the marriage certificate or name change document with you (depending on your name change laws of your state).
  7. Today our status changed to "interview scheduled". NOA1: May 20th Norfolk, VA Gotta sit down with my hubby and get all the documents together
  8. They will send back the whole package, because the payment is wrong. So they are not charging you at all.
  9. Nothing. If they reject it, they will just send it back and you can file again!
  10. I read somewhere that the 221g must be included if there’s one. also my ds3025 is complete and I saw it as required from a lot of people.
  11. What was not required? You have to treat EAD and AP as its own petition. A lot of people got rfes for that in the past.
  12. I only put one certified copy in the AOS package, the ead and ap only had a normal copy. Heres my table of contents. I already got my EAD and my interview is ready for being scheduled. So no rfe: Not sure if some of it was too much, but atleast i didnt get an RFE haha. Was my biggest fear too! Oh also I didnt send any evidence because people said you only need it at the interview! 13. From what I remember while reading my combocard. It says that the notice CANNOT be used as proof of owning an AP or EAD. So I hope the post office finds your card or maybe you could get an appointment at the nearest USCIS office. But just traveling with the note is very dangerous. Also what Loren said, without a card the airline prolly wont let you even board the plane back to the US!
  14. Check your biometric letter if it says only one of the cases. Sometimes they do two biometric appointments! Yes its the combo card, just read the whole paperwork that came with it!
