Trump's salary..

On Friday, the Trump administration released their annual report to Congress on White House Office Personnel. It includes the name, status, salary and position title of all 377 White House employees.

The report said that Trump decided not to take a dime of his salary, instead he donated it to an amazing cause! (see below).

The report also showed that President Trump is far better at saving money than Obama was.

The total annual White House salaries under trump are $35.8 million vs. $40.9 under Obama, a savings of $5.1 million.

Here are some other key findings:

* There are 110 fewer employees on White House staff under Trump than under Obama at this point in their respective presidencies.

* Nineteen fewer staffers are dedicated to The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS).

Currently, there are five staffers dedicated to Melania Trump vs. 24 staffers who served Michelle Obama (FY2009).

* However, it's what the report said Trump did with this salary that has everyone talking.

Instead of taking his salary, Trump donated all $78,000 to the National Park service, plus another $182,000 in donations.

Second quarter, he donated $100,000 to the Department of Education.

Oh, and where's the media coverage of this? Oh that's right, they don't cover anything good that the President does.

Why in the world did Michelle Obama need 24 staffers? Sounds like she thought she was our queen or something. And some want her to run as president. God help us if that happens.

Five million in savings out of a federal budget of 3.65 trillion gives you one of those exponentially low numbers that confuses people. I'm sure it will come up on a slow news day.

Maybe if the president could hold back on things like trading nuclear "whose is bigger" barbs with Kim Jong Un, the media would have more resources to devote to stories like this.

Im sorry you miss your spineless leader Obama but someone has to stand up to these tyrants. Especially when they threaten us with nuclear weapons. Maybe if Obama had a spine North Korea wouldn't have nuclear weapons right now.

I'm sure a few more tweets and North Korea will be begging to surrender their nukes. Neither Trump or Obama could do anything short of going to war to get them to give up their nukes. Trump hasn't accomplished anything different than Obama, he just managed to make a bigger jackass of himself while not doing anything. I understand some of you like that side of him, so feel good story for you if nothing else.

I will say that because Trump is so biggly wealthy and had so much staff etc for his wife prior to coming in office, she probably does not need as much. I mean they got their own plane etc. I also think shelly did more 1st lady stuff.

You know there is a search engine called google, people say it is pretty good. So, I just googled "trump donated his salary cnn" expecting no results were to be found but apparently fake news CNN published a few articles on these. Google seems nice, give it a shot.

Nothing changes in the federal budget, and yes, I'm sure it was intended to be a publicity stunt.

However, had Obama done this, there would be a$$-kissing headlines all over the mainstream media.

Michelle Obama [...] Sounds like she thought she was our queen or something.

Mrs. O. was deluded.  That role is permanently reserved for and occupied by Sheila Jackson Lee.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I appreciate you being unbiased and I get your point but how many staffers does she need to make sure our kids get moldy bread and rotten fruit in their school lunches?

How about he keeps the Salary and pays for the Junkets to Trump golf resorts out of his pocket?

I agree but stuff like Shelly having 6 more staffers than Laura Bush and who played the most golf etc is just political gotcha.  The non critical thinkers on the far right screamed bloody murder about Obama's golf and now the same Low information non critical thinkers on the left, who defend Obama's golf, do the same about Trump's golf. Same thing with Vacations and how much Shelly spent going to Hawaii.

One or 2 f-18 sorties in the Gulf probably cost more than all of Shellys staffers in a year.

Its theater for those that dont pay attention to the real issues

Always yours from the center line.
