Not yet. So far, I haven't heard anyone from NYC receiving any interviews since the pandemic started. All other states are moving along except NYC. I'm hoping someone will update us when they receive an interview based from NYC.

No, definitely not for those of us painfully waiting for Philadelphia, PA office to start moving🤪

One guy in the  April 2020 filers thread was notifies that they are using his biometrics from I-485 that is 6 years old!

Seriously, thank G*D they are. I always felt it was completely nuts to have new biometrics taken, when the whole point of biometrics is that they are markers that are consistent over time. (Perhaps someone who is knowledgeable about this area of biology has good insights on why this may be necessary. I am certainly not a doctor)

Which local office did you apply? Queens,BK or manhattan?

I live in The Bronx, which I also had Biometric in the Bronx. I would assume Manhattan. How do I find out since I applied online ?

Hi all,

I had my interview done on August 13 and approved! I applied in August 2019 based on marriage (3 year rule) and was supposed to have the itw on March 18.

Itw went smooth. She asked additional paperwork (Tax statement, my original son's birth certificate and latest electricity bill) and the rest was easy.

Waiting for oath ceremony letter now!

Good luck everyone.

So I checked my USCIS today. The wait time shows exactly 9 days, which I am not sure how accurate that is.😂

I am a Queens Jan 2020 filer with i751 pending, so I would hope the interview would be a combo of both.

i130 (both parents)

2021/06/04 i130 filed online, routed to Nebraska

2021/09/03 RFE received, responded within a day
2021/11/19 Both i130 approved.

Currently waiting for cases to be transferred to NVC

It goes by zipcode. I was living in the Bronx and did biometrics in Bronx but based on my zip, my local office was Queens. Not everyone in Bronx is Queens local office. Also all the local offices are physically in the same building in Manhattan.
