Filed: IR-2 Timeline

My estimated wait time is 3 months, case completion is August. before it was June then July, now August. Case submitted date is 8th October 2019. Never really bothered to apply for citizenship, now need it for a scholarship. My dad was angry that I didn't apply on time. My time was due in November 2018. I hope it gets done before September. Status hasn't changed from Actively reviewed... since Oct 28th.

I'm from Queens though.

Is there anyone who filed under 3 years rule ? I’ve a question abt filling out the N400, in part 9 it ask total number of days outside of us in last 5 years ? How does 3 years filer handle this question ?

I filed under 3 year rule in NYC.

I just mentioned my foreign address since that's where I was 5 years ago :D (not much sense in why they ask for 5 years when I've been in US only for 3 years) but if its perhaps for security check or whatever. I'm sure the USCIS officers will be able to see when you immigrated by looking at the green card picutres.

I only put time outside of the US since I became a green card holder. So I added up all the days for the trips I've taken. I put only time out for the last 3 years. Considering questions 2 and 3 asks about trips taken outside of the US, I wouldn't include time I didn't live here because those wouldn't be trips outside the US.
