Hi all!

Me and my fiancé will be sending our package off to Texas this week however we're just a little bit concerned and hesitant with what's been going on lately in Houston. I know Houston is fairly far from Dallas but just wondering what peoples thoughts are?

Anyone sent their package off this week and have any updates or thoughts??

Thank you! And good luck to any fellow September filers!

Dallas wasn't very heavily affected by the storm, but I would give the package a few extra days to arrive at the lockbox. It could be with all the clean up going on that the mail delivery will slow down a bit, but overall I don't think it will have much of an impact on the Dallas lockbox or petition processing time. Good luck!

Hey Nicki!

We were worried about it too as we were sending our package to Dallas when the worse flooding was happening around Houston. But as it is quite far up, there were no delays and the petition was delivered in 3 days from Florida. Got our NOA1 in 2 days on 1st September!

For perspective, Houston and Dallas are as far apart as London and Liverpool. Or Wilkes-Barre and Washington DC.

Should be a non-issue.

Yup! Yeah, I'm marrying my filipina fiancee this Sunday (she came on a K-1). Small world...I never even hear the "city"'s name, let alone on here. I opened up a little space in my mailbox here for PMs if you ever wanna chat.

Best wishes!
