I can only check one case at a time so I need to wac to check it. Naes and a few others have a software program that lets them run larger scans that will show every updated case. So any approvals will show up on their scan.

Yes. I just got an update via email and text that they sent me a letter for an RFE. *sigh* 

 

So does it delay the processing or is it a better thing as it can seen right away once i submit the evidence they need.

The best way to check your case is through the https://www.uscis.gov/ website as all the apps get their information from the source. The apps have been given faulty updates before.

I put in a question to NVC, through their form, on how to change address. So I should hear from them whenever. I'll also try calling in a few more days. My NOA2 wasn't too long ago.

Hi guys!! It’s my first time posting here but I’ve been following this forum since a few months. You guys have been helping me with your comments and your feelings through this entire process. Honestly it has been so frustrating the waiting. I’m August 7th filer and today I check the app just as a routine and it's been  APPROVED!!!! I still can’t believe it!! So please don’t lose hope! They are working and your approval is around the corner. Just have faith in God and stay strong!!

Shouldn;t be more than 60 days, and it usually doesn't take the full 60! It's a good thing! At least you know you've been touched and that your NOA2 is coming!

Seriously, your case might be approved and it may still say received.  One day you will just get the approval in the mail.  We were approved on February 6th, and it still says "Received."  Don't lose hope!

I understand. This process is taking way too long. Just put in your wac number in the case tracker here https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do and you will have the latest updates.

 

And @noraliz73 is right. Many cases still get a 'silent approval' as their online status never gets updated by the USCIS. So keep an eye on your mailbox too!
