my fiance have a child support but the custody is under her ex wife. In his w2, there was no dependent written. Should He still place His daughter as partially dependent on him because of his child custody??? @Naes me again☺️☺️☺️☺️

Hi everyone! I am a lurker for 2 weeks now. Just like to share that our case is approved less than an hour ago. I checked once status says received, after running 30 cases in a minute interval it says approved. This has been a test of commitment to my future husband (i am the beneficiary with 2 dependents 12 and 17) but we chose to not let go. Our trust in God has definitely helped us get through this. NOA1 sent: July 28; NOA1 received: Aug 03; NOA2 Approval: April 22. Good luck to everyone. Sending good vibes especially to fellow Philippines beneficiaries and fellow Augustines.

I was told by Rapidvisa that it is Tax dependents only.

So apparently i spoke too soon....We got an email today saying an RFE was mailed out. I'm still excited! At least it means they are working on our case, and there's a light at the end of the tunnel. At this point I'd almost cut my arm off and send it if they asked for it lol

Guys because most approvals started coming very recently (and I'm already way far in the scan. It will show only 8/21 and later cases. I will update it again with the full day scan.

Pretty sure you list any and all children, whether they are listed as dependants on tax return or not. I learned that from other users on here.

It's really out of my expertise but,

i would say it should be listed as partially dependent.

It’s my understanding that yes, he must list his child as a dependant, whether the child is listed as a dependant on his tax return or not. I learned that on this site from other users, and the reason given to me was because although the child may not currently be a dependant, circumstances can change.
