AOS June 2017 Filers!

Hi ,

im applied my AOS on 29 June 2017 , im in Hâii, I have been wait about 270 days ago, but still nothing happen, i check on Uscis website , processing time  was update on 31 Dec 2017 still is sticking around Jan 2018! Can anybody give me some advices

Which field office are you in? It can be longer depending on which field office handles your case.

We did our interview earlier today and I was recommended for approval! Now will just wait for the status online to change and for the card to arrive from the mail!

 

i’ll be posting my review soon if you guys are curious about how the process was. ^^

Congratulations! Happy to hear that! Im applied to Hawaii office! I saw on VJ processing time and wondering about the AOS are processed to 18 june 2017 already?

Hello Everyone!

 

I just wanted to share that we had our AOS interview Yesterday at the Santa Ana, CA  office.

 

The meeting lasted around 1 hour, the questions were mostly on what was submitted and the forms we filled out.  Only other questions were about how we meet and why we took so long to file for AOS, since we've been married over 5 years.

My case has been last updated on September 12. 2017 saying ready to schedule for interview. I tried to check my status this morning and it is giving me an error message. Called USCIS, the guy said they will have to call me back. I am frecking out, please has anyone has this same experience. Please reply

My i485 was filed in June, 2017

Any update on your application? Have you tried contacting your congressman, or other options? What USCIS tell you in regard to the delay?

Well, It's the waiting game dear, I applied 2 weeks before you and I'm in the same situation...I even keep asking myself if my process have even been sent to the field office at all...my first thougt is that it is still at NBC but untill I get some update I'll never know...my case status still say "fingerprint fee was received" and my field office is West Palm Beach...288 days and counting!

Hi June filers! I'm a July filer, but I lurk in your waters to see how much progress is being made in June to gauge where I'm at  Up until this point, I thought we were on track to get an interview date scheduled sooner rather than later, but then...

 

I noticed something that I just posted in our July filer thread: USCIS rolled out a new case processing time page that is apparently supposed to be more accurate. I thought it was awesome until I looked up Phoenix for an I-485.

 

Current time: 14 to 22.5 months. They're currently working on MAY 2016, which is a LOT more backlogged than I anticipated. I tried a couple other field offices to see if it was consistent, and it looks like Phoenix is one of the longest waiting times. It also means you're not out of "normal" processing time to submit a service request unless your date is prior to that. So it's kinda crazy!

To everyone who are still waiting, it’s just a matter of time. I’ve read a lot of posts here that sometimes it can take over a year and even 20+ months depending on how the local office processes all the applications they receive.

I had interview few days ago, we left with no answer, just with paper, that case is held for review. I cant eat, normally sleep, Im so nervous. We were there with our kids, brought all documents, pictures and other papers.

Everyone at our local office in the Baltimore area is given that paper and told they will contact us within 120 days. I think that is just how a lot of offices work. 

 

We were given that piece of paper and no hints of how our interview went (I was expecting that after reading others experiences). We got my husbands Welcome to America letter 3 weeks later.

Oh, Im so worry. We also had to take older kids with us (USCIS called before and said that they do not need them on interview) because school send cancellation note just 1h before we left house (It was snowing a bit and they expected delay firstly), so I tried to watch them not to brake USCIS office  and Im worry that I might miss anything or understand wrong.

Oh waiting is killing !!!
