Nice to see someone else from Belize on here!  I am a USC living in Belize with my husband but I am relocating to the states soon to start my new job.  You are a couple months ahead of me in the process so I will look forward to reports about the embassy.  Best of luck and I hope your wait is soon over!

Indeed! It does get lonely here in NYC as the larger of the Belizean population are either in LA, Chicago or Texas. One thing I can say I was told, our embassy has the least activity than most countries so that process is a little faster than most. I wish you so much luck! This is truly an agonizing process, but you'll get through this strong. Best of luck!!

Thank you so much!  Well that is good to know about the embassy!  I doubt we will have much of a Belizean population in Virginia either so I understand.  Yes this process really is something but hopefully not too much longer until positive results! Good luck with the interview stage!

The USCIS sent my petition to the NVC on May 30th should I start calling the NVC to get a case number or should I just wait?

If I do call what information should I have when call the NVC?

You would need the USCIS case number  as well as the beneficiary full name and date of birth...You can call, but normally it takes about 5-7 days for them to receive it.
