I've been hearing stuff about what's going on in Malmo and other places around Sweden for years, possibly over a decade now. It's insane. Most people there are afraid to walk around with anyone knowing they are Jewish. I'm not saying this to justify any stance against immigration because it is important to allow sensible immigration but to me denying the fact Sweden has a problem is no less than insane.

The fact that Sweden has screwed itself over on PC and immigration isn't really some sort of unknown phenomenon in Scandinavia. When I talk to liberals in the U.S. about Sweden's problems, I often get accused of "watching too much Fox News." The reason Donald Trump can get away with "last night in Sweden" is because Sweden has tremendous problems directly resulting from its open immigration policy, and no one covers it for fear of 'playing into right-wing propaganda.' If people on the left were more honest about these things, Trump and Europe's rapidly growing populist movements wouldn't get away with half their bs.

 

'No-go zones' and the spread of Islamism in Swedish suburbs aren't a Fox News conspiracy. They're a well known and openly discussed problem in Scandinavia. It's ok to discuss this. It doesn't make you a Trump supporter or racist or other terrible things.

I also have to say that I watched what he said several times and I don't at all think he was referring to a terror attack. Had he said "look at what happened last night in Sweden" that would have been different. Had he said "look at the terror in Sweden" that would be different, but what he actually said was "you look at what's happening last night in Sweden". He was referring to something he watched about the immigrants in Sweden that aired the night before on Fox. The left would have done a much better job making the argument that the president shouldn't talk about what he watched the night before on TV, rather than trying to spin it as if he made up a terror attack that didn't happen. Mind you I'm not saying it out of love for him(like some here always think whenever you don't agree with the blind bashing) because he's actually lost quite a bit of points with me lately on many things. Nevertheless the truth is the truth...basically put "last night" in brackets and you'll understand exactly what he meant. "What's happening" is very different than "what happened" which would mean one event. There are plenty of good reasons to criticize him, part of the left's problem is when they make up reasons that don't exist because they are so desparate to pin stuff on him other people stop paying attention to those good reasons.

   English is Trumps's native language. We shouldn't need an interpretation of everything he says.  

 

   I suppose if he would just think before he speaks more often, you're right, there probably would be less cause for criticism. The boneheaded and inflammatory rhetoric is not the left's doing, it's Trumps, and he should be criticized for saying it. If he had it in him to be more of a statesman, it may not be this way, but he made his own bed.

how do you figure there are four options? 

from what i read there was a drug related arrest and folks got angry. i haven't read anything that says who starting throwing rocks, but i would assume whoever was with the person arrested..

and all of this relating to trump's prediction of fox's friday night line up? seems like a ridiculous distraction from i dunno uh, russia, 80+ utterly false statements, our taxpayer burden for the winter white house/trump tower/tweedle dee and tweedle dum's protection on business deals for papa..etc.
