The visa was moved from AP to issued!! :jest: I know every country and situation is different but it only took 11 days for us (not bad). Looks like he'll be picking it up at the visa center in Delhi this weekend. His last day at work is October 6th and he'll arrive here October 20th!

On another positive note, I mailed our wedding invitations last week! Our honeymoon reservations are made, too!

Congratulations!

Does anyone know if my fiancé will be required to have a CFO stamp after receiving K1 visa?

She won't be allowed to leave the Philippines without it.

Just found an interesting site for anyone that likes to look at numbers and data.  This is from the USCIS and it shows all the applications they have received/approved/denied/pending broken down by quarter over the last several years:

https://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-studies/immigration-forms-data/data-set-all-uscis-application-and-petition-form-types

If you look at the latest one released you can see the drop off in approvals from the 1st to 2nd quarter, as we've all seen here, and how the backlog has grown.  In the first quarter they had 10,179 approved with a backlog of 15,746 for the I-129f.  By the second quarter, approvals dropped to 6,864 and the backlog grew to 20,082.  I believe the Fiscal years run from October-September that's why the 1st quarter 2017 ends December 31, 2016 and the 2nd quarter ends March 31, 2017.  That means the next quarter ended June 30, 2017 and I would think that data should be published soon.  I looked back at the 2016 data to see if the trend was similar and there is indeed a drop in the 2nd quarter of 2016 in terms of approvals and a growing back log but not as much as this year.  Just thought I'd share.

I was just looking over the data and noticed a substantial increase in denials.  Last year denial rate was 12% - 15.6%.  This years first quarter was 17.4% and jumped substantially in the second quarter to a whopping 28% denial rate.    Has me worried since we haven't heard anything at all after 224 days.  :(

Nah if they were going to deny they likely would have by now.

Hang in there.

They still show the processing time of February 1st.  We got our NOA1 on February 10th.  Called and talked to a Tier1 on Thursday and she was nearly rude. Didn't want to ruin my weekend so I gave up. We are praying we get approved soon or that they move the processing date up so that we can start filing inquiries.  There are like 40 other filers in the same group of sequential numbers that have not been touched either.  Seems like everyone that has already received an FRE do get priority over those still pending. Frustrating to see that 40% of the April filers have already been processed leaving 20% for January, February and March.   Just a few a month get processed from previous months.  Not  sure how I ended up in the untouched pile.  About the only red flag I can imagine is our age difference.  Other than that it should be cut and dry.  We will see once we hear something.

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do

You many know this already but the USCIS processing time has moved to March 1st now.

You need to call every single day until you get approved or answers. No joke. It's up to you though.

Your age difference should not be a factor at this point. The USCIS only needs to make sure you meet the requirements for K-1.

Age gap will come into play at embassy level but Manila has massive gaps getting approved.

Unless you are 45 plus years difference I would not even give that part a thought for the embassy stage.

Back to CSC it could be that a group of cases were selected for some kind of audit or training files  . that would suck in either case and you will probably never know exactly why the delay but

you should still be calling Tier 2 and your senator if not already.

You and @Lovemycroatianman need approvals by end of this month at the latest.
