Ok, keeping you all updated:

 

Package was sent on the 21st and was received until the 23rd.

NOA1 on text/e-mail today, said our case has been accepted and routed to the California Service Center.

Congrats to all who got their respective NOA1! Still awaiting ours that was sent in the 22nd and received at the lockbox on the 28th.

Yay finally got my e-mail Noa1.. said case was accepted and routed to CALI.  they received mine the 23rd..

Ours was sent on 12/22 and was received on 12/23. No NOA1 txt or email and the check still not cashed :-(

Congratulations! May we know how much fee did you enclose since your case was received beyond the Dec 22 last day of $340 fee?

 

Im asking this because we enclosed $340 and sent our package via USPS on Dec22. Some says we should have enclosed $535 as the package will definitely arrive/received by the USCIS after Dec 23. 

 

I think there's confusion here. I'm worried if our packet will be returned to us or not. 

 

Date Sent via USPS: Dec 22 

Received at the TX Lockbox: Dec 28

Enclosed Fee: $340

 

Will they accept our $340?

As long as it was post marked you should be fine. Mine was post marked on the 20th and I sent 340.00.  You should be okay as long as post office marked your mail the 22nd!.

Hi everyone!

Fellow December filer. We filed December 2nd, it was received December 6th and received our NOA1 on December 8th. Our petition was forwarded onto California.

Am I the only one going crazy with the waiting even though I KNOW I should have zero expectations until at least March, more likely April? It's already been over a year since I last saw my fiance and every extra day is feeling like agony. I also have a lot of anxiety about everything as while we are definitely eligible to apply, we have a few things working against us that I'm scared will affect our petition (lgbt relationship & petitioner has previous criminal record although it wasn't one of the listed offences that would make us ineligible. My partner wrote a statement detailing the offence so our application would be as transparent as possible after doing much research online).

 

I just need this process to be as stress free as possible.

Should I be worried that the check hasn't cleared and that I still haven't received an Email Notification?  It was certified delivered but from what I hear from most is that their checks have been cashed at the very least.

So status update, looks like payment was just posted today on my checking account.  All that worrying was for nothing.  Now just the waiting game and letting the process move forward.

Thanks for all the support and information.  Next up E-Notification and NOA1.  Not too worried now since the check has been posted.  Just a matter of process now.

Cashed Check: 1/5/17 (6 Days) 

Still no NOA1. Waiting for E-mail/Text. ☺️
