Hello all. We received confirmation for our DS-160 but the instructions are in a language neither one of us speak. What are the general instruction for this page. There's also a link to the embassy's website but it gives a 404 error.

Not sure if it is required, but you can also include updated letters of intent from each of you. Essentially the same letter you submitted with the initial petition, but with the date closer to the interview.

Curious if you received your NVC Ready staus yet? I got mine on Monday, hoping for email or mailbox letter, nothing yet, I was hoping you might know how long this takes, and if it has the interview date on the letter? Thank you so much,

Neal

December filers- how many of you have received packet 3 with the interview instructions/appointment letter? Our status changed to "ready" yesterday with this message:

"Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at: http://nvc.state.gov/interview

For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV. "

We haven't received the appointment letter though....just wondering how long it takes to receive that, and if anyone didn't actually get one?

Thank you so much!

I called and emailed my embassy as soon as my status changed to ready and got packet 4 through email in three days but each country has its own process and timeline. You can always contact your embassy if you don't receive the letter from them. Good luck!!

I did receive the NVC 'Ready' status on Monday as well. The only letter I got in the mailbox just had my case number on it, so it was information that I already had. I think the way interviews are scheduled vary from country to country. In Morocco, we have to email the consulate ourselves in order to receive packet 3 and the interview day, but some countries have online scheduling systems.

You have to send the i-134 and supporting documents to your fiance for the next stage. Some people need them for the interview. In my case, I need them before hand because the Embassy requires to send those as part of the reply to packet 3. Check with someone from your country or in the Embassy website.

Good luck!

I know, the letter in the mail was so anticlimactic!! I was hoping it had the interview date. It is so confusing where to go from here. I will send an email to the embassy, and hope the interview date is in the packet 3 and it gets mailed to my fiance? Thank you,

Neal

I received in English.

Instructions

YOU MUST SUBMIT the confirmation page with a clear and legible barcode at the time of your interview. If you do not have

access to a printer at this time, select the option to email your confirmation page to an email address. You may print or email your

application for your own records. YOU DO NOT need to submit the application at the time of the interview.

Please note that you will be required to provide proof that you have paid the visa application fee and any other fees associated

NOTE: Unless exempt from an interview, you will be required to sign your application by providing a biometric signature, i.e. your

fingerprint before a consular officer. By providing this biometric signature you are certifying under penalty of perjury that you have

You electronically signed your application on 02-Jun-2017 05:22:37 (GMT-05:00). You were required to electronically sign your

application yourself, unless otherwise exempt by regulation, even if the application was prepared by someone other than yourself.

Your electronic signature certifies that you have read and understood the questions in this application and that your answers are

true and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief. The submission of an application containing any false or misleading

statements may result in the permanent refusal of a visa or the denial of entry into the United States. All declarations made in this

application are unsworn declarations made under penalty of perjury. (28 U.S.C. 1746).

You certified that you understand that you are required to submit your visa to the United States Immigration Officer at the port

where you apply to enter the United States, and that possession of the visa does not entitle you to enter the United States if, upon

your arrival, you are found to be inadmissible under U.S. immigration laws. You further understand that your adjustment of status

to legal permanent resident is dependent upon marriage to a U.S. citizen and upon meeting all of the requirements of the U.S.

Department of Homeland Security. You certified that you understand that any willfully false or misleading statement or willful
