If you were really that concerned I don't see why you posted in the first place...

K-1 is one of the easiest visas to get so if you think immigration system is unfair or obsolete when dealing with K-1s then you have a lot to learn.

I'm also not sure you know what sovereignty means, let alone how to spell it..

Like others have mentioned, it's probably too late so you will have to just wait and see. I doubt it will lead to a denial, but still not a very smart thing to do..

Especially considering you are one of the lucky ones who will most likely get a visa and set up a nice life here with your fiance while there are those who are being slaughtered seeking asylum who are being told "too bad, so sad".

Also, must countries aren't any better with their immigration laws, especially related to family visas. If you don't believe me I can email you a PDF of my dissertation on the subject.

I hope you get denied. This is our immigration process no matter if you think it is unfair or obsoletr it is ours. Also how does the U.S. disrespect your country's sovereignty? If you think the country you are trying to immigrate to is so bad then stay at home in your own country.

This is so ridiculous. It is "our immigration process" and let me tell you something...OUR immigration system sucks.

This is the problem with social media--people think that because they're connected and networked and that it's easier to vent on a computer screen without facing the people or things your venting about you'll get a pass. The key to social media is to expose yourself as little as possible. Yes we have freedom of speech but you have to realize your privacy settings are worth squat. The government and your employers have ways to circumvent those privacy settings, and if you delete something there's always a way to get that post back. Social media isn't always good because you're opening yourself up to a larger audience and you never really know whose seeing what.

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it on the internet. The internet never dies or forgets and it can always be found again. It's why I stay away from mentioning politics, political views, race, sensitive topics, posting too many pictures, and of course my location because in the end it can come back to bite you in the butt. I don't want people to know what I'm thinking or doing a hundred percent of the time. Social media can be a benefit and a tool, but unfortunately too many people make too many mistakes with it and it costs them later on whether it's a job, pissing off a friend, the wrong people looking at what you're writing, etc. Social media has tricked us into thinking we're so important that people want to pay attention to ourselves but the reality is we have even less privacy than we really do. It's simply safer not to say anything at all.

I have seen ppl put their life story on FB, always be careful about social

Hating or disagreeing with a countries bureaucracy or foreign policy does not mean hate for the country and its people. I'm used to hearing people telling me if i didn't like Americas policy then i should leave, and most of it came from people who have green cards. The sad thing those people who become residents all the sudden become instant patriots would not lift a finger to defend this nation if it asked them to arm and defend it.

In addition, a post quoting the removed material has itself been removed. Several other posts very well could have been removed but are being allowed to stay, for now.

Confine yourselves to answering the OP's question without additional commentary. Ignoring this instruction risks your being banned from participating further in this thread, or worse.

OP, the best that you can do is to remove questionable material from your social-media accounts. The consular officers do have ways to gain access to your accounts, and they often will gain access. Think "what would offend the sensibilities of someone with power over my immigration process?" and delete that material accordingly.

OP, I doubt your posts criticizing the US immigration system will be an issue. There's an open debate going on in the US right now regarding the flawed immigration system, CNN has a whole piece about it, the candidates are discussing it on the presidential campaign trail etc. With that said, it never hurts to be cautious with what you post on social media. Remember that what you say on social media will be there for others to see, including the US government, potential future employers etc.

On the note about some saying that OP should be denied for voicing his personal opinions etc. I never understand people who can't look at themselves or their country objectively. There are good and bad things with every country. Every person has good sides and sides that need a little work. If you can't be objective about it or be open to feedback or discussion, how are things every gonna improve or change? It is a flawed immigration system and we need to talk about it and we need to debate it for it to change. Imagine, if people didn't speak up or ever voiced their disapproval for policy and procedures they felt were wrong, African-Americans would still not be allowed to sit on the bus and women wouldn't be allowed to vote.

At this point just prepare for your interview and have a good explanation ready if they do ask about your Facebook posts.

I highly, highly doubt they'll even make it an issue (unless you posted things that could be seen as hating this lovely country).

COs are educated professionals with a very sound judgment. They know what/who is harmful for the country and what/who is not.

Also be truthful. No other option there.

OP, it may be too late, but you could still go to your Privacy Settings (https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=privacy) and click the "limit past posts" link. That way you won't have to go through every post you've made, and you can set all your public posts to friends only.

I have make a few posts criticizing the USA immigration sistem and I called it obsolete and unfair jajaja..

In another post I did mentioned that USA should respect the soberany of my country in his inmmigration laws.

And now Im afraid. What happened if they had investigate my Facebook wall and see all those thigns. Can they think that I have something againts USA and can it be a reason to denied a visa.

You're neither crazy nor exaggerating. And fair or not, this is a serious matter as mentioned in an article in today's NY Times.
