Can I sign the 325 for my fiance?

As she lives on the other side of the world and transit times are so very slow I am wondering if I can just sign her name or do they do an in depth comparison of the signatures etc.??

Planes don't fly any slower. Its not that bad and not unreasonable to expect / ask someones wet signature vetting they are aware of the data they provided. Do not do that unless you're ready to pay the price. Everyone else here managed to do it. (I hope)

Her own wet signature is needed. Mail it to her and she can mail it back. Most people research what is needed and then

get the signature when they go visit before filing. In this process it is best to look ahead a few steps.

Yes, and I was just there and misplaced the documents on the trip.. getting DHL this morning to send.. just hating the time it takes...sigh.. But saw that Utah people go through CA lockbox and the time is about half or less than the rest so I guess I am lucky there

Signing for anyone else is considered fraud/forgery. You can send the form via email and have her mail back to you using registered mail which has tracking info etc.

Safer is always better.

i took all the paperwork when i made the visit

but why doesn't your financee print out the form there and fill it out

mail just 1 way to US instead of you to financee and back

BTW have her do a POA and send to you for further paperwork

I wonder if a power of attorney would be recognized..? I know that in the US we use them but for purposes of a visa I am not so sure..?

Looks like you are looking for the easiest or the shortest route. There's nothing like that with USCIS.

You can't have a power of attorney sign the Letter of Intent on behalf of your fiance. Unless you have valid reasons which you probably don't have if your issue is about the snail mail 'snailing' process.
