Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case [Part II]

Got my welcome letter in the post yesterday, dated June 25!

To recap: NOA1 April 28, 2014. NPIW July. Finally got an RFE April 29 this year asking for proof of bonafide marriage and copies of me and the wife's state IDs (no medical). Now two months later, fourteen months almost to the day since filing, I get the approval notice.

Like a few other recent posters, I didn't get any email/text updates, and the case status online still says the April 29 RFE. I spoke to Tier 2 today to check if my card had been sent and if I could get a tracking number, and she said she could see that it hasn't been produced yet, and that the online system has been acting up, perhaps accounting for the lack of status updates. I also renewed my EAD recently, and got no online updates when that was approved and mailed a week or so ago.

Even though I haven't posted much, I've checked this thread often. So thanks to all you regular posters for the unwitting support, and good luck to everyone who is still waiting.

Congrats! Can you please update your timeline?

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

I would have started the EAD renewal as soon as I was allowed but then I was seeing approvals left and right for April 14 filers and thought it would have been my turn soon. Fast forward to last week when my EAD ran out, no GC, but I did have an expedition request on the EAD renewal (filed about 60 days out). Since the renewal is free and really there was not a lot of paperwork to file, I would file as soon as the 120 days is here. Also, since it is free, you must file by snail-mail, not online, so keep that in mind when calculating time and deciding when to send the application in.

We'll be out of the country when his 120 days hits. We will file for his renewal once we're back in August, if his GC isn't approved by then. :)

My sister's approval letter came yesterday, dated June 25. She filed from Houston TX on July 10, 2015.

She got RFE for I-864A back in Sept 2014 and it was replied within a month.

Her online status has never changed since RFE response was received.

Congrats!! Husband's and K2's still say "fingerprint fee received" and "case was received." SO annoying!

LOL!!!! I am OCD with Timelines!!!!!

I used to do that a long time ago,.

It really helps many people especially to compare any other timelines. And also keep in mind, though many do it actually but they did wrongly put the timeline. For instance some people think they have been transferred from TSC to CSC because they have filed to petition to Dallas Lockbox and showing their NOA-1s that their cases are processing at CSC.

Given the lengthy time of your AoS filing, I won't complain too much anymore. :)

We will be there, sure. Pray for all of us that waiting so long.

Verve just received a new 797C for EAD stating USCIS will use my husband's previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics and anew biometrics appointment is not necessary. It only came for EAD, not AP. I'm curious if they'll require a new biometrics appointment for this since no letter has been received for AP. Anyone experience this?
