Followed ya timeline too :D

Called last night and still no case number, they insist on 42 days from the day our case "landed in building".. hubby and i have decided not to call again until on 12th Jan since our case was received on 1st Dec.Oh lord, give me a sack full of patience! Amen!!

refresh me on calling nvc.

can either the beneficiary or the petitioner call? or does it need to be the petitioner only?

were you put on hold, and if so, for how long?

waiting to the 12th isn't that long off with a sack full of patience.....it will be here before you know it.....

and hopefully we'll get ours the next day!!! :)

Either of you can call as long as you have receipt numbers. was put on hold for an hour... from what i gather here, after the number you fill choice of agent,,,wait for the invoices/pay them then submit aos/iv packages. if no checlist get case complete.. i hope im right.

They are open from 7am-midnight Eastern time and it seems to be shorter wait early in morning or late at night. Good luck!

Called this morning and no case #....I did see in another forum that someone from early Dec was issued a case # so I hope the rest of you have good luck this week and we can all keep moving!

Called this morning and no case #....I did see in another forum that someone from early Dec was issued a case # so I hope the rest of you have good luck this week and we can all keep moving!

So ours could be just around the corner.. but i guess it just depends on whose desk the case lands.. if the person handling our case is a lazy employee then we are doomed.... Anyway, hubby will call again on Friday, hopefully some good news will come our way..Lets keep praying and believing

Receive IV Bill : January 15, 2015 called after AOS showed paid, they released it overnight)

I saw someone on the immigration timeline tool from Dec 5th that had a case #.

I feel like the average the last few months was 28-30 days but maybe NVC is so backlogged they changed something in the system to utilize the full 42 days to generate a case #. It seems silly to get frustrated about 12 extra days but I am lol. Hang in there all! :-) I hope all with Dec 1st get yours this week!

haha on dec 1st I said I wasn't gonna call until Jan 12th ! I called them about 3 times lol!

This journey is unnecessarily over stretched.. so i would not laugh at anyone calling nvc after every other 20 minutes :(
