I have found the best time of day to call is 2 minutes before they open in the morning. I always get through on the first try and have never had to wait on hold more than 15 minutes.

Do you know if your case has arrived at the NVC yet? Case numbers are being assigned approximately 28-30 days from the date the case was received by the NVC.

Thank you Maharosa..

We don't even know if the case was received since there has been no communication. Our i-130 was approved very fast from vermont service center, less than a month (24 days). We are stuck at that point, so when i joined VJ, i realised its for us to take action by calling but we havent been lucky coz the calls don't go through. hubby will try again today. what is nvc opening times?

My hubby is petitioning for both my child and i. both cases were approved at the same time.

Hi all. I had a NOA2 from CSC on Nov 24th and called this morning to news that my case has been received!!! (18 days)

They are open from 7AM - 12AM Eastern time. They number is always busy, so you husband just needs to hang up and redial immediately, keep doing this until he gets through. Last night it took me 80 tries before I got through. He should also be sure to call only when he has at least an hour of time as he could potentially be on hold for 30 minutes to an hour before speaking to someone.
