Good afternoon! My hubby's interview is 12/18/14! :dancing: I am sending his interview package to him on Thursday. I have two questions:

1. Should I send original photos or colored photocopies of photos as proof of our relationship?

2. Is it better to send an email document of interview package to hubby for him to print out, or should I send it to him via DHL?

I am at work and just thought of these questions, and have been unsuccessful in my google search. Any KIND and RESPECTFUL response would be greatly appreciated...thank you!

1) You can send colored photocopies or originals whichever ones is more convenient to you. They just want to see it and don't really care about the quality. You could also send the scans to him to have him print them out at a local photo shop.

2) Send off the document via DHL since you are sending the photos anyway.

Hi everyone! I don't have a CC yet (prayers it will be soon...) but since my husband is coming here for Xmas I'd like to save the money and stress of sending documents through mail and ask him to bring already everything we might need for the interview.

I already have the copies of everything we've sent to USCIS, so I only asked him to bring everything he sent in the AOS package to NVC (since the IV package is all about me...).

Should I ask something else??

Is it necessary to take to the interview a AOS form too? (Like the same one he sent to NVC?).

Thanks in advance and sorry if I'm asking a silly question!

If there are no changes to the AOS you don't need it. Some take just ion case. Doesn't hurt to have. It's all about knowing your embassy and knowing what they like to see.

Like my embassy Lagos they want to see Phone Logs and Pictures (they are a picture kind of CO's) and Phone records OMG.

So go through the interview reviews and know what they want. have your evidence at the ready.

Thank you so much dwheels!

The embassy in Brazil have little few questions and almost no request for further evidences since is a very "rare" type of visa here (people usually go with a k1 or just go as a tourist and stay...).

But thanks anyway, for sure I'll bring everything we have and some more just in case! :))

Hi everyone-- good luck to all the upcoming interviews. I hope it's ok that I'm posting here, I'm really at a loss as to where to get help. I tried posting in the embassy section, but have had no answers. My husband had his interview in November, the 13th, to be precise, and they told him it was approved and to sign up for an account on ustraveldocs.com to register for delivery... He couldn't figure it out, and asked me to do it, and finally I got some help here on VJ and created a profile for him on the 18th of November.

So we have been waiting anxiously for his visa, and started to get pretty worried last week... the embassy is really not anxious to give much information... when I first wrote to them they told me to contact the courier, but the phone number that they sent didn't work. After I pointed this out, and sent a few more e-mails, they told me to contact the customer service for ustraveldocs.com. MEanwhile the account on ustraveldocs says the embassy still has the passport. I called a few times, and was generally rebuffed, but finally someone in the American citizen services department said they would contact the visa people and find out what was going on. That was yesterday. A few hours later I got e-mail where they finally admitted that they had given the passport to the courier on the 17th of November, and reiterated that I would have to contact ustraveldocs customer service, that they (the embassy) can't do anything more... meanwhile, I have been trying to contact customer service... they don't answer the chat, at least not for 3 hours, and when you call the phone number the recording says it's not during their operating hours, even though it is. I sent them an e-mail explaining the situation, and got something from a no-reply address saying they had created an account with my e-mail address. (I used my husband's address for his account.) So I don't know what to do... does anyone have any ideas? Is there some state department phone number to address issues with ustraveldocs.com? Is there somewhere else on VJ I could post where someone might have experience with this sort of thing? I very disturbed that they couldn't tell me for 3 weeks that they had already given it to the courier... what a mess!

I have a question about POE

i have a friend that will be traveling from CAIRO TO DUBAI THEN SAN FRANCISCO. will be going with emirates airline. Where will POE be?

I remember reading before about pre-clearance aiports in some countries outside US.

Anyone know more details?

Where do the deplane/ It could be Dubai? Not all POE is actually US soil it just depends.
