One thing I will say Egypt is different than everyone else. So don't worry whether others are scheduling still or not. That's good that the Rep said that. Kepp callim I would call back Friday.Or whenever your nerves will allow. I so remember all those months with my Egyptian peeps waiting for 4,5,6 months oh the joy of a interview date was too much. So hang on. Good news is coming.

Probably fly to Cd. Juarez. I have a question, I just started a job and I don't want my employer to feel like she made wrong decision in hiring me in asking permission off work in January. So, can my wife go to interview with my mother or will it look bad if they were to ask "where is your husband: and she answers "working"? I know my mother will not be able to go in with her to Consulate. Mom will be going for support and companionship.

If you want.Remember the interview is all about proving the bonfide relationship of you and your wife. But for moral support sure why not.

Hi everyone! When my mom called last dec2 at nvc they told her already our interview date which is jan15 and they said they mailed the letters already, but I don't know if they are talking about our papers sent to embassy or the interview letter, coz until now we don't still have the interview letter yet to be mailed here in Philippines. How long does it usually takes before you received a letter?

Dear Dwheels.....plz respond to my post. Need ur help...looking to Jan VB,released today,my PD may get current in March. M spouse of LPR..F2A. I want to know that do i need to update my AOS I864? Bcz petitioner n joint sponsor has signed it on 9 March 2014,so it will b a year on 9 March 2015. If i gt IL for the date aftr 9 March...should i hv new AOS? Dd you pic up your Passport yet? That's where your numbers come on.

If somebody has to reschedule the interview date how we can do it? What is the procedure for it ?

Once you get interview and your petition gets to embassy you can contact the embassy and request and earlier date. Maybe yes maybe no. Some embassies are more accommodating then others.

Go to first post there is an example of how to write up.
