Do they send you your interview information by email or regular mail?

I called on december 29 and they told me they just scheduled our interview for feb 18, so i'm guessing our case was completed awhile ago.

By email. Can take anywhere from a day to a week or longer but usually within 5 days after the interview scheduled you will get the email.

CC Dec 23rd. My hubby called NVC yesterday and I got interview date of Feb 27th Mumbai Consulate. I don't know why it got pushed to the end of Feb, I have seen people here in VJ with CC later than ours, who have got early Feb interview. Good for them, for we were also hoping for early feb interview. We are really upset. I will call embassy to see if they have got earlier slot.

When they assign interview dates they DON'T go by CC date, they will go by your priority date.

Dwheels76 (or anyone with input):

I was playing with the DHL tracking thing to guesstimate when my package will be shipped to the embassy. I looked at the packages shipped in the whole December for ALL countries and I noticed that NVC shipped between 5 to 15 packages a day in December.

Now considering the huge volume of applications they deal with this can't be true!! Do they use other shipping services or what am I missing here?

Status changed to "In Transit" on December 31.
I checked DHL. There is only - Ship Date: 12/30/2014 to my country and isn't any shipment for 12/31/2014
Can it be ours?
