  1. In Mexico police certificates are only available for applicants 18 and over. A police certificate from every state in Mexico is generally not required for an IV application. A single police certificate is sufficient. Only when an IV applicant has lived in Mexico for six months or more and after the age of 18 is a police certificate required. However, consular officers may request a state police certificate where an individual was resident for more than six (months) on a case by cases basis.
  2. Police Certificates Available Comments: Available but unreliable. Police records are not required for immigrant visa applicants because posts cannot verify them. Clean record certificates can be obtained in Iran or from Iranian Embassies and Consulates, and the physical appearance of the certificate changes significantly depending on which authority issued it. Court/Prison Records Available Comments: Available but unreliable. Court and prison documents are not required because posts cannot verify them.
  3. Off Gaza’s coast, truckloads of aid roll off a US military pier – only to remain uncollected https://www.cnn.com/2024/06/25/middleeast/us-military-pier-gaza-uncollected-aid-intl-latam/index.html $230m wasted, my guess is the real number is a lot more. All foreseeable, never made any sense.
  4. You cant file until you are free to marry, not sure anyone would suggest a K1 in your situation.
  5. Leaving voluntarily would not have any impact on Consulate processing.
  6. Waiting made zero sense as you found out. Should have filed as soon as you had the documents. I would file and show ICE the NOA and ask for my Passport back. The problem with entering on the VWP is you waived your rights to appear in front of an IJ so that route is not without risk.
  7. I have no reason to assume he does not have the correct piece of paper but here is how you get a copy https://www.gov.uk/copy-decree-absolute-final-order
  8. UK does not really do Notaries or Apostilles. I assume he has the regular Court documents.
  9. When they say approved they mean their bit subject to whatever.
  10. The important thing is that he is not been paid by anyone on the US including things like free accomodation, well maybe if someone put him up in their home but not free Hotel accommodation.
  11. All the dirt on Oakland is coming out, and apparently her crookedness is being brought to light due to Political considerations. Well the only people involved have a D after their names. So sounds like Woke on Woke.
  12. U4U is irrelevant in this case, OP is in the US in legal status.
  13. From a practical perspective going to the trouble of approving someone who is not qualified for a visa is a waste of time and effort.
  14. This is the big thing. As always follow the money. Yup That is for CEHST

    PLEASE HELP!

Actually this is the key point because there is very little to do from your end, the onus and cost is basically on the Employer.
  16. I saw this, blows my mind what sort of mindset you must have, so sad things have come to this. Anyway the only thing that matters is OMB!

    PLEASE HELP!

That is what I would go for in your situation. My Brother is an Accountant, now if he wanted to come over, he does not, than a EB2 NIW would make much more sense, he has worked for several companies he could have got a EB 2 through but he has no inclination to move here. Sponsoring through me, well we could both be dead, well at least one of us before that happened. Trying to guess timelines for an EB3 is tricky, none of us is prescient, but say less than 5 years? And of course enter the DV if available.

    PLEASE HELP!

I have seen people getting EB3's for working in McDonalds, or even one guy for driving a School Bus. All about the presentation.
  19. The Iranian situation is much more obvious, I assume they had links to Terrorist organisations, and how do you carry out Background checks for Iranians. In Iran. I seem to remember Laurel Scott got into waivers due to her Husband's situation, not sure if they are still together, not that it matters. Tattoos being gang related can be a big deal particularly with certain consulates, now I do not know which ones are associated with gangs, I had not heard of Madonna being an issue, but certainly would not be going through Consulate processing with gang related issues without good legal advice. I saw The Bikeriders on Saturday, really like it. Similar sorts of issues.

    PLEASE HELP!

Employment-Based Immigration: Third Preference EB-3 You may be eligible for this immigrant visa preference category if you are a skilled worker, professional, or other worker. The “other workers” subcategory is for persons performing unskilled labor requiring less than 2 years training or experience, not of a temporary or seasonal nature. https://www.uscis.gov/working-in-the-united-states/permanent-workers/employment-based-immigration-third-preference-eb-3 Someone really needs to want to help you taking into account both time and cost.
