  1. There's nothing wrong with applying. There's aldo nothing wrong with withdrawing N-400 if you no longer want to become a US citizen. You can do it today. Before making a decision, does your country of other citizenship allow dual citizenship? Many countries nowadays are OK with their citizens having multiple citizenships. In many cases you will continue having your citizenship and passport from other country if you become a US citizen. And one outside of the US, you can still use that country's passport to travel if you wish. What country are you from?
  2. It depends on local office. What is the closest city? I'd file now, biometrics can take anywhere from a month to a year, but most likely 2-6 months
  3. File now, I-131s take a while to get approved
  4. If they already moved - now it's the time to update address.
  5. Why didn't you send a medical with I-485 packet? RFEs is just another delay for no reason.
  6. Technically you can, but sometimes credit card transactions get declined, meaning you have to refile.
  7. Any reason not to go spousal visa route? K-1 is more expensive overall and takes longer to get GC.
  8. Hi, TN visa is not for permanent move. It's a non-immigrant visa allowing you to work in the US. If you search the forum, many Canadians do it. Do you have any particular concerns?
  9. If you apply in June a few days after anniversary of you coming to the US, you won't have to list foreign addresses and you'll be 100% solid.
  10. Another thing to think about... Did you apply on 5 year anniversary of Resident Since date on your GC OR 5 year +3 month (anniversary of you coming to the US)? If first, I heard it's possible to get N-400 denied on the ground that you actually didn't start residing in the US on Resident Since date, but three months later.
  11. Each case is unique. Most likely more marital evidence if you didn't submit enough. What all did you submit?
  12. I wish I knew 😃 I-90 due to USCIS mistake should be free. It's ridiculous they made the same mistake twice. I've never heard of this before.
  13. Estimated wait is a random number. Good luck!
  14. I also hesitated putting date on extension letter when I was in similar situation, but apparently this is OK and everybody does it.
  15. Case is being actively reviewed is typically a status to fill the gap when nothing is happening. It's normal.
  16. No downside to front loading your application with all evidence.
  17. If you remember it was 15 years ago than you can calculate the year? Maybe it's a request to NYPD to get your entire records if any?
  18. Nothing like this. Make sure to attach joint tax return trascripts though for evidence of bonafide marriage
  19. +1 EAD will pay itself off by any job quickly. AP is insurance. Imagine if family back in home country gets very sick. AOS is already very restrictive and can affect psyche and relationships. Make sure to at least have some flexibility. The cost of living in the US may be higher than in Europe. There's also fewer free resources available and not much safety net. EAD is a must IMHO
  20. See the Adjustment of status guide on this website. In a nutshell: But I'd file everything on paper instead of splitting I-130 and other forms.
  21. Estimates are random numbers, unfortunately
  22. Most of I-751s take give or take 2 years. If you desire and eligible to apply for N-400 you can.
