How To Commit Democratic Party Suicide
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Gov. Half-Whitmer doesn't appear to be ready for prime time. Hopefully, this ruins her chances for further elective office. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Who is Gretchen Whitmer Hiding From? [...] What's going on here? Is this some White House staffer who was caught in a weird or awkward moment? Nope. It's Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, one of the names that is often tossed around as a potential new leader for the Democrats and a presidential candidate in 2028, standing in the Oval Office, hiding her face behind some folders as if she's been caught by the paparazzi. If you don't believe me, here's another shot of Whitmer in the Oval Office on the same day, looking like she's rethinking every life choice she's ever made. Ecuador Presidential Election
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Great news! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ecuador's Noboa wins re-election, leftist rival calls for recount Incumbent President Daniel Noboa claimed a runaway victory in Ecuador's presidential election Sunday, with voters endorsing his "iron fist" approach to rampant cartel violence. With 90 percent of the votes counted, the National Election Council said Noboa had an unassailable lead over his charismatic leftist rival Luisa Gonzalez. Official results showed the 37-year-old president with 56 percent of the vote against Gonzalez's 44 percent. Shocked by a weaker-than-expected showing, Gonzalez said she would call for a recount. "I refuse to believe that the people prefer lies over the truth," she said. Noboa claimed an "historic" victory. "There is no doubt who is the winner," he told jubilant supporters. VAWA, Part 27
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
It is already Sunday! Time for our hilarious, effective Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke: =========================================== A BLONDE AT THE CINEMA I went to see a movie the other night. I sat in an aisle seat as I usually do because it feels a little roomier. Just as the feature was about to start, a blonde from the center of the row got up and started working her way out. "Excuse me; sorry; oops; excuse me; pardon me; gotta hurry; oops; excuse me!" By the time she got to me, I was trying to look around her and I was a little impatient, so I said, "Couldn't you have done this a little earlier?" "No!" she said in a loud whisper. "The 'Turn Off Your Phone' message just flashed up on the screen, and mine is in the car." -

At the site of the dinosaur-killing crater, scientists find a surprise When colossal asteroids rock Earth, it's not all doom and gloom. The menacing asteroid that wiped out non-avian dinosaurs left a colossal marine crater in what's now the Yucatan Peninsula. But after analyzing deeply drilled rock core from the impact site created by the six-mile-wide asteroid, geologists have found compelling evidence that life soon thrived in the basin following the seismic episode. The asteroid's impact [...] https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/dinosaur-killing-crater-scientists-surprise-093000194.html

"a Surrey Police spokesperson said they were originally alerted to the potential theft by a man in his 40s" --- This was mentioned twice, with no elaboration on who he was or his vested interest in the case. The arrested chick's malicious ex-husband? The kids called their father to report "theft" as a way to get at their mother who confiscated the iPads? Not clarified.

Priceless! ~~~~~~~~~~~ If This Is What It Looks Like, NY AG Letitia James Is In a World of Trouble Letitia James famously campaigned for the office of New York Attorney General on a platform of sticking it to Orange Man Bad. New York being what it is these days, the TDS attack dog won the election and became the Historic™ first black female NY AG, if you care about such things. And now, it looks like she may also have the distinction of becoming the first black female NY AG to earn herself fraud charges. From the hardliners at the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) and Reason to the more moderate libertarians like Milton Friedman and President Reagan, the conservatives of my generation (I'm 62) knew several things with absolute certainty: [...] https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2025/04/free_trade_reagan_and_the_austrians_vs_the_world_of_today.html
