  3. Processing times for K1 have increased significantly in the past year. It has lost the speediness advantage a long time ago. USCIS stage alone takes 13-15 months. There is also the NVC and consulate stage. Might as well apply for a CR1 at this point.
  4. No idea how this is related to COVID tests not being required anymore. Start a new thread in the Hot topics section but please don’t hijack other peoples threads that are unrelated to what you’re discussing here.
  5. There’s a pinned thread on it in the CR1 forum where people share their experiences
  6. ~~ Topic moved from K3 forum to Tourist Visa forum as the question is about visiting the US as a tourist ~~

  9. That is immigration fraud. File a I-130 for your mother to receive an IR5 visa. Should take around 2 years. No, you don’t need to be present for her interview. There is no “fast and easy” in US immigration. I hope you are aware that she doesn’t qualify for Medicare and thus most likely the health insurance premium payment will be very high.
  10. I deleted my post. try again tomorrow, sounds like website problems
  11. You have a good chance if she can show strong ties to her home country like a steady career/job commitments. Otherwise, I’d say chances are low. Keep in mind that the wait for a visitor visa appointment at Islamabad consulate is 440 days.
  12. ~~ Topic moved from CR1/IR1 forum to Working & Traveling during US immigration ~~ Stamp is sufficient and is valid for a year
  13. Personally, I wouldn’t use USPS for important paperwork like that. I’ve read too many posts here about USPS losing peoples mail.

  15. We can’t decide for you, we provided advice, it’s up to you to make the final decision.
  16. 1. Photocopies only. Do not send anything original. I scanned boarding passes and all other evidence and organized them on a word doc. 2. I feel like sticky tabs can be easily lost and probably could be thrown away when USCIS pulls everything apart to scan all you send in. FYI USCIS throws away everything like folders, paper clips, etc. I recommend organizing everything on a word document and including a brief caption next to items 3. Photocopies only always unless explicitly asked for an original. Beneficiary’s passport photocopy is included only if it’s part of the 2 year meeting requirement 4. You still have time to search for a better paying job. I-134 affidavit of support is needed for the beneficiary to bring to the interview, not when filing I-129f 5. read form filing tips and instructions on USCIS. It has useful tips like don't use a stapler, but use paper clips instead etc -> https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/form-filing-tips
