I would report the SS card as stolen by her.  She cannot cancel your green card.  Find a divorce attorney to protect yourself legally.  Seek spousal support from her under the I-864 she signed.  Move on and seek happiness for yourself. 

Not assets, but the first required document to go along with the I-134 according to the USCIS website is a signed statement from an officer of the bank showing when my bank account was opened, the amount deposited in the last year, and how much is in it now. Bank of America is going to send this to me but my concern is that it won't be signed.

I feel so relieved! Things are going to be easier for a lot of us. I wish they'd expand the meaning of "immediate relative" to include fiances as well.

For all of you still here, we got our appointment scheduled today for later this month! They even had April 9th open. We actually got an appointment earlier than the original one we had picked to print out the bank form. Hang in there!

Let's hope the consular officers have been vaccinated and can start/keep working despite rising numbers. The wait is so hard, but everyday that passes brings you guys closer to being reunited. Hang in there.

I feel like we've been waiting an eternity, and now very quickly our case was In Transit for only two days and now Ready! We've waited so long for this and I'm like a deer in the headlights now on what to do next. We got an email from NVC saying it was in transit before, are we waiting for another email from the embassy now? What's next?

We didn't write N/A for every single line. For example if there was a name of previous spouse I'd put N/A but then not for every blank line underneath for their address etc. Our petition was approved with USCIS.

No, we did not have a copy of our approved I-129f form. They had it already there. We did not have it nor even considered bringing it.

I agree. Consulates have been saying "can't resume routine services due to local conditions" for about a year now, that's not all true... Local conditions have been back to normal for at least half a year, everything's open, everyone's working, most cities all over China has 0 existing covid cases, yet the consulate refuses (or doesn't have the go ahead from DoS) to do more than the ridiculously tiny amount of work they're doing. Covid is not a convincing excuse. Is covid especially bad in the consulate? Maybe, it is technically American soil

It doesn't seem to me that thousands of additional employees need to show up.   They need to use the employees they do have to ramp up interviews more.  I'm going through the Nairobi embassy and they issued 27 IR1/CR1 VISAs in December of 2020 and 105 IR1/CR VISAs in December of 2019.   They are doing a very small fraction of what they normally do. 
 
I just returned from Uganda a few weeks ago and COVID is nothing there compared to here in the US.  Everything is open over there, so it makes no sense that they aren't doing even 1/2 of what they normally do.
 
Someone needs to give them a swift kick to get moving on interviews.  Since Biden is now their boss, he's the best guy to do the kicking. 

This is the topic that seems to be being swept under the rug.  There's quite alot talk about citizenship paths for illegal immigrants, but nobody is talking about how jacked up and gummed up the I-130 process is right now for all of us doing things the proper and legal way.  The current timelines are getting pretty ridiculous.   One executive order from Biden ordering these embassies to ramp up interviews is all it would take.

There is no easy fix.  There are over 1 million I-130s pending in the system.......and it has been that way since BEFORE Trump was elected.

I wonder what will be done about spouses of US Citizens, the processing times are no joke now... 

People do it, yes. Strictly speaking it’s possible if there was no prior intent of staying. The fact that you are discussing it now demonstrates your intent. That’s exactly what intent is. Is everyone honest that they had no intent when they arrived? Who knows? People get away with it. Just as people get away with not paying taxes or with driving without insurance. Doesn’t mean it’s right just because people have done it without being caught. 

Please read JFH's reply above.  To reiterate -- the fact that you are considering it even before your husband arrives means that it is already part of your intention.  No one here will advise you on how to commit a fraudulent activity.  It is against VJ's TOS.
 

I don’t think you actually grasp the problem you have on hand. He has a green card and you have no power over him in immigration matters anymore.
 
That is not correct. Actually your divorce has nothing to do with his immigration status anymore aside from that you are obligated to financially support him since you signed the affidavit of support.
 
Serving him while he’s abroad is meaningless in the grand scheme of things. It has no immigration implications, the only advantage is that he doesn’t have a return trip however he can return and I bet he will.
 
He  does not have to go home or anything of the sort. Treat this just like divorcing an American spouse, because that in essence is what it is (plus the pesky matter of being financially responsible for him).
