  1. Yep ours was as well, they asked 3 questions and we were good to go, not worried about the interview i just dont like the stress that comes with it but if it happens it happens
  2. Yeh, Im not worried at all. Hopefully we wont have to go for interview they give me anxiety lol
  3. What did you guys submit for supporting docs? I had two affidavit letters, life insurance showing my husband as beneficiary from statefarm and from my work, tax docs from 2020, 2021. Plane tickets from 2020 and 2021 showing that we traveled together, bank statements, docs showing that we are in process of buying a house together, pics from our travels for the past 2 years, plane tickets for our planned trip to Asia for this year, joint health benefits and I also added letter from my work, not sure if that was needed but added it as extra. I didnt go overboard with writing a love story because they already have that.
  4. Hi! This is a question from my friend. I already have a green card and he is the process. I firstly would like to mention that he is already seeking legal help and wants to know if there is anyone here that went through similar situation as him. He was banned from USA for 10 years due to overstaying, he was in US with his finace, they got married in Europe after. His husband had to go back to USA and he tried to enter again after 5 years and the CBP officers let him in even tho he has that 10 year ban. Whilst he was here he applied for i485; month after his interview he got a letter stating: " USCIS is providing you opportunity to submit additional evidence and information that you believe may overcome the ground for intent of denial pursuant ". His lawyer has advised to apply for waiver. (they took over a month to reply to him!) Has anyone been in similar situation and is willing to advise?
  5. You can raised an expedite request via chat on USCIS website as i765 and i131 is outside of normal processing times. You didn't have biometrics yet?
  6. We had our interview today in LA. No wait time, we got interviewed as soon as we walked in. Even before the interview started the guy said that we will have to do this again when we remove conditions . The officer asked me about DOB and date of marriage. Took the joint docs and my husbands birth certificate and we were approved. Very smooth
  7. Hey guys, my interview is next week, I was wondering how many photographs did you take to the interview? Did you include everything from the begging of relationship or just recent? also did you make an album or just put it into a folder or printed it out from slides? thanks!
  8. Posting this question again because im a bit worried, , Is it mandatory to bring copies of all the forms I submitted I-130, I-485 to the interview? I made copies but I think we shredded them by mistake when we were moving. thanks!
